Hi to all ex-Streetlifers,
If you are not keen on Nextdoor, there is another site that has been set up with every area, town, village etc of the UK on there. It's called mylocalforum and if by any chance a town isn't on there it will be added. It's a British run site so has good security and lots of Streetlife friends and neighbours are already going over to it by the minute. It's a big talking point on there at the moment. Looks like a good forum and they say they can adapt to any ideas and suggestions that us Streetlife people put forward.

Sue175 - interesting, though easy to navigate, I notice one poster about streetlife mentioned that the reference to - mylocalforum - had been removed, so far my reference to Kahuti is still there -

- finding these alternatives seems less likely I'll try nextdoor - though I may leave it to the last moment!I used to work for Tesco - now retired - speciality Clubcard0 -
I can't do a link, but i've just had an interesting email from Change.org, sent by the girl who has started a petition to stop the Nextdoor takeover. The CEO of Nextdoor has been involved in a motor accident, and he's been charged with hit and run.0

Thanks SamsReturn. Not sure if this is the petition you're talking about, but I signed it anyway!0 -

I just deactivated my Nextdoor account having moving from Streetlife a few days ago. I moved and and didn't think to look too closely at the new site but once I did I was horrified at how much information I was sharing. I live on a small road so even the road name was sharing too much for me! It's a real shame as I always found Streetlife useful.0

Cakemonster - are any of the alternatives mentioned earlier, of interest to you? Mind you, you could do both!I used to work for Tesco - now retired - speciality Clubcard0
