Well done Valli and FBO. Glad Iona's DH got some positive news.
((Hugs)) and lots of sticks for those who need them.

Struggling to find anything today that counts towards flying.....dinner cooked, kitchen sort of tidy, 1 x WM and that's about it. Big plans for a full on fly day tomorrow have been scuppered. I will now be going back into town in the morning for various errands *sigh*. Oh, and the car needs diesel, and has a damp smell in the boot. List now written so I don't forget anything....

    I have invented a dinner...

pasta, with mangetout, sweetcorn and a chopped spring onion, cooked together. Add chicken from half a breast (they were big breasts (ooh err missus)) and stir through half a tub of quark with a pinch of mustard powder and salt and pepper.

it needs tweaking..but it's edible! :rotfl:

(any suggestions for seasoning/tweaking would be appreciated)

But thats about all I have done!

    Well done Valli X

I'm now just about at my heaviest. :(

Bedroom lightbulb has just blown. The last of my old style bulbs. It tripped the circuit breaker but surprisingly the landing light stayed on. (It must be in another circuit).
    Batteries/light bulb/pocket tissues/ 3D glasses/ bike lock drawer sorted.

I bought old style bulbs from ebay, I can't bear the new type. I have asked on freecycle for old style ones also. I hate the new style.

Loudmouth The old bulb was at least 10years old. The new bulbs seem to be constantly blowing.

Off to put the kitchen to bed
  • Morning all :)

Just coming round with a cuppa - had a better night with DS, only up once for a wee hurrah :j

Got a lot of jobs to do today, but won't be home until gone 11 after the school run as I need to nip to Aldi and visit my grandma, so will crack on when I get home. Loads of paid stuff to do. It's very nippy today, stay warm everyone xx

I have to pick DS2 up at 11am and take him to see his paediatrician. I'm normally very prepared but not so today. I will try to correct this whilst I have a cuppa. Does anyone else want one?

    Off to put kettle on.
  • Me please dancemum xx

Yes please, dancemum :T I had one an hour ago, but DH has only just surfaced so it's at least another half hour to breakfast!

    Plans for today:
    - Write birthday cards for February (forgot to take the Old Wives' cards on Monday :o so now I must deliver by hand)
    - Shower and dress
    - Make a couple of phonecalls
    - S&S kitchen and bathroom
    - More reading for my assignment
    - Take DH to hospital this afternoon
    - Do a bit of shopping on the way home
    - Prepare for regular meeting with my supervisor tomorrow

    Catch up later.
(((Hugs))) all round, as needed. Hope everyone has a good day x
