Another carp night. Small woke me up saying his duvet was in a bunch at about ten to three. Sorted.
Madam opened three doors to wake me up with a wet nose at 5am. I shoved all the dogs out for a wee, but am now wide awake listening to the poxy cockerel crowing LIKE IT'S DAYLIGHT

Oh Dizzy love, words fail me. Sounds like you need a week's all inclusive holiday in the sun, by yourself
well actually could I come?!
Huge hugs and supportive vibes all round - let's beat those anxieties and black dogs away.
YL - I agree, routines help enormously. I love reading your posts too, you always sound energised and upbeat even if you don't always feel it.
Iona - you and Mr Iona are in my thoughts.
Today's plans - volunteering, a bit of paid stuff, flying, not spending ANY money, laundry and generally trying to stay sane. Not too hard to ask, right?!
Dog is barking, DS is whinging for breakfast and DD still asleep, it's like waking a teenager nowadays!
Let the madness commence, have fab days all xxMFW

Morning all.
Welcome Amara.
 to lurkers.
(((Hugs))) to Gilly and sticks for your BD.
Bossy, I had to google Pete Tong - never heard of him, way out of my comfort zone, and as for ecstasy...! - and I didn't connect with rhyming slang :rotfl:
(((Hugs))) to Dizzy. I hope you can get some rest during the day to begin to make up for the broken nights. This too shall pass. Cockerel stew for tea?
DH saw the cardiologist yesterday who says that his heart is OK and the irregular heartbeat is well under control, so he has been discharged by that team and can drive again when the TIA consultant tells the DVLA that he is fit to do so. This has cheered DH up a lot: he is now looking at visiting umpteen model railway shows over the next few weeks, and he intends to go back to SW this morning, even though he knows that the fluid on his lungs has pushed his weight up. But the reason for the fluid remains a mystery to be solved by the Respiratory team.
I am trying to get on with my assignment and being far too easily distracted. We have appointments of one sort or another every day this week, and I have a long college day on Saturday, so I am fluttering just enough to keep the house tidy and the washing pile to a minimum, and we will have a flying blitz early next week.
Today I will S&S bathroom and kitchen, steam clean the filthy kitchen floor and dust round the LR because a friend is coming to do my nails this afternoon and I can't let her see my hovel in this state0 -
Morning all
Got a big basket of sticks to throw for all those BDs that are lurking
Hugs for all who need them
I hope everyone's day has something positive and joy bringing in it.
Iona glad to hear that Dh is feeling a lot better and will soon be able to drive again.
Dad and step mum didn't really get advice or answers they wanted dr suggested writing letter to the proffesssor at the hospital not sure how sussessful that will be, but we can hope.
Other person who is causing me worry is now awaiting results.

Good morning, thank you Valli for list. My window cleaner arrived yesterday, first time since last October, boy my windows were so dirty. DH cleaned all inside windows too, taking extra care when he cleaned all the dog snot off one particular place he seems to love pressing his nose against!
I have read everyone's posts and see there is a quite a few of us struggling at the moment. I have lost my smile. I have to prompt myself to smile at people that matters. It's difficult when you don't feel very smiley.
I don't think I will be doing much other than the basics today. I have the house to myself and I just want to spend the time doing ...well nothing ! Hopefully feel better after I have had another cup of tea.
Big hugs and love to everyone.0 -
Morning all
Full of cold but feeling VERY virtuous having decluttered 8 lbs at SW
Wooty Wooty woot woot!
Cleaned my bedroom yesterday too...
Have decluttered some food from fridge/freezer which won't get eaten as I figured paying to keep it frozen is just chucking good money after bad IYSWIM, also if I eat it it will be bad for me, so I gave bitten the bullet and flung it into the green waste bin. Not what I would normally do but now I have more space to store what I need to.:oDon't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016
