DS has pet insurance but the excess is £99. Its more to cover serious illness / accident / injury.
I have been trying to sort out online banking this morning to pay money from my savings accounts to my current account and credit card which are now all with different banks and I must admit I am struggling since I did the current account switch to keep up with my money. Think it must be my age lol. I am thinking of transferring my current account back to my old bank and I don't want to use my credit card in the new year so I will stop using the 0% card and pay it off monthly. Its so much easier to have all my accounts with one bank !!
Puppy has been fed and played this morning and now snoozing. DS has gone to work on early shift. I am going to have 40 winks and get up around 9am to walk the puppy. Not much else planned for today. I want to clear the living room and my bedroom ready for xmas. Still no decorations up yet.0% credit card £1360 & 0% Car Loan £7500 ~ paid in full JAN 2020 = NOW DEBT FREE 🤗

My decorations are up but I haven't written any cards:( I find them really stressful as everyone expects a run down of my life - which quite frankly is as boring as anything.
Well done on waking up. I get confused with my accounts too. It's raining here. It's great that you are paying off your card.Aiming for a minimal spend 20220 -
I have been taking it easy today so haven't done much. Bought DM a book from amaxon for Xmas. DF has subscription to a magazine for his Xmas / birthday / Father's Day. As a family we spend about £10 on each person. My sister has a CD, her husband a bottle of port £8.99 and my nephew an England rugby shirt sports direct £7.99. I do a stocking for DS even at 22 lol and give him money to buy what he wants clothes etc. So that's my Xmas shopping done
:)
I've been batch cooking today, sausage pasta bake, chicken & peppers in black bean sauce and stew in slow cooker. I've cleared the kitchen table of junk and the living room. DS gone out so no Xmas tree brought down from loft, but have put up sparkly sash over large mantle mirror over fireplace and a garland on the stairs with pine cones and lights. With the Xmas cards up too it looks quite Christmassy.0% credit card £1360 & 0% Car Loan £7500 ~ paid in full JAN 2020 = NOW DEBT FREE 🤗

Ive just come back in after going to my Church nativity. It was soo funny. I didn't write my xmas cards as I can't find my address book. Oh crumbs.
Well done on presents. I have bought one thing so far - a Secret Santa present.Aiming for a minimal spend 20220 -
Had a lovely puppy walk this morning it was warm in the sun
We have bought a halti headcollar as advised by the vet and it is like walking a different dog, no pulling, no biting. The antibiotics seem to be working too.
I popped into town to collect a Christmas tree from wilko, with cones and berries it is only 2ft but looks really nice in the living room on top of a cupboard. I don't have the energy to put the full tree up this year and it was reduced to £6. I saw it online and phoned them this morning so they put it aside for me to collect. Its beginning to look a lot like Christmas. :xmastree:0% credit card £1360 & 0% Car Loan £7500 ~ paid in full JAN 2020 = NOW DEBT FREE 🤗

It's freezing outside this morning everything is white with frost brrrr !!! Puppy didn't hang around out there today lol. I invited a friend out to lunch today only Toby carvery under £10 with a drink but she has replied she can't afford it. She has had a very tough year so late last night I had a brainwave and text her and offered to pay as DPs have kindly given me some cash for Christmas. Hoping she will reply and say yes as I selfishly would really like to go and have a relaxed meal someone else has cooked for me and I can't go on my own.
I also bought myself a new hair dryer with the money they gave me mine was making a weird noise. It is very lightweight which I need to lift it over my head, only £9 in asda and it's great.0% credit card £1360 & 0% Car Loan £7500 ~ paid in full JAN 2020 = NOW DEBT FREE 🤗

i do hope that you are able to go with her and have some fun. Carveries are the best kind of meal. Proper food. I'm glad you had money for the hairdryer. We take equipment for granted and I couldn't cope without mine.
It's frosty by me too. Still and it is 10am. Have a good day.Aiming for a minimal spend 20220 -
Sadly my friend said she couldn't cope with the crowds and we didn't go out to lunch.
After walking the puppy I went to morresons looking for Christmas meat but couldn't find anything special. The butcher said they should be getting more in on Thursday. They had a veg offer on, 3 for £1 so I got sprouts, carrots and parsnips for £1. I also got some frozen leeks and frozen butternut squash and a chocolate gateau for Christmas day. I may have had a snooze this afternoon
before taking the puppy out for another walk. DS is just getting up ready for next night shift and I think we are going to have Chinese as I didn't get to go out today it will save me cooking. I am looking forward to having my hair done tomorrow afternoon, I am going to look at new hair styles this evening, I fancy a change.

Im so sorry your friend couldn't make it. It's great you have healthy vegetables. Glad someone else had a Chinese - I spent loads yesterday and finished it off today.Aiming for a minimal spend 20220
