Your tea sounds wonderful and just what's needed. Hope you don't have to wait long for your sandals.

Sorry to hear your foot is sore, hopefully it's just a recovering blip.

Have just hoovered the dog carpet, kitchen tiled floor, hall and living room. 🥵 All the fans are on. Am hoping to sweat off a few pounds 😆 Must rip up dog carpet and get some cheap lino or something ! Too much hard work when she’s moulting. Emptied approx 3 dogs worth of hair into the bin !

Seems like a 365 moulting, my cat spends months ditching her winter coat for summer, them the other 6 months ditching the summer coat in readiness for winter.

    I feel your pain!

Hard work. They must be so hot in this weather. I've put the fan on. Upstairs room has two large windows and boiling.

Wow it’s scorchio 🥵 ☀️ Forecast was for 30 degrees and it feels like it.

Paddling pool is filled up for the dog. She’s alternating between the 2 fans, pool & her cool mat. 😆

Walked the dog at 8am up onto the field for the first time since spraining my ankle & she had a run around after her ball. Worked until 3pm then had an ice cream. Couldn’t even stand outside to eat it.

Fajitas for tea. Made the other day & defrosted. I am using natural yoghurt instead of sour cream as it’s cheaper.

Another hot day tomorrow then I it’s due to cool down to about 21 degrees which will be more bearable.

DS is at work. His gf will be walking the dog about 9pm when it cools down.

Surprised you didn't join PD in the pool 😁 it's good you managed to walk her this morning. Your tea sounds perfect for this weather in you probably need more ice cream 🌞

We only managed 29 but it's like when I go abroad. Any room in the pool?

Hahaha SW now have a vision of us ladies all in the pool and a bemused puppy dog looking on not able to get in 🙄🐶😆

You are right MF I needed more ice cream !! Was also tempted to order pizza earlier before deciding on fajitas. So I ordered a pizza £2.50 & ice cream from morresons via prime with a few other supplies and it was delivered about 8.30 pm. It means I have gone over budget again 😕 but I will get back on track once I can pluck up the courage to go to aldi again.

Don't take away the dream of PDs cool hot tub, sipping sparkling lemonade and having a good laugh and chat! It was only 23° up here yesterday which is too much for me.

Have you been to any shops recently? Do you have a smallish one you could pop to and get used to going shopping and build up your confidence to return to a1d1? Possibly a c0-0p, little t3sc0, sa1ns, or even your local chippy, bakery etc. You can then see what steps have been put in place to look after customers. I've found the smaller ones have people with sense shopping in them 😉
