Had a nice chill out last night apart from the hot curry !! Phew it was warming lol

No heating on today at work so I went in later when the office filled up with all those workers & computers on and made it warmer, and have not long since got home via aldi, am shattered have been awake since 4.10am

Food shopping this week £59.32 and there should be plenty there for next week and included clothes washing liquid, 9 toilet rolls, tin foil & air freshener
    total so far £115.13 / £300

Forgot to add green bin collected again today, so that's 3 trips to tip saved petrol. Hope to do lots more gardening over easter break, cant wait for 2 weeks off !

I am sooo tired ! Heating still broken at work so I went in later (with 4 layers of clothes and a blanket ! ) and have only just got home. I took porridge to work but didn't feel hungry so when I left I couldn't resist the smell of McDonalds :o

I resisted a Cadbury crème egg mcflurry and had quarter pounder with cheese meal £4.39. I am going to look at the mcd hack for big mac & fries for £1.99 and I also won 6 chicken nuggets so will use those vouchers another day

I put a big load of washing out then fell asleep till 6pm :o

I've gone outside to fetch the washing in and some idiot has a bonfire going and the smell is dreadful. Its definitely wood smoke not a BBQ and I can see the smoke in someone's garden a few doors down.

I've brought all the clothes in and they are all dry but now I'm not sure if I'm going to have to wash them again  some smell worse than others.

I'm going to see if I can find some advice on the OS board because short of spraying them with deodorant ( which may be worse if it doesn't mask the smell ) I cant think of anything else. I will hang them in the kitchen overnight maybe the smell will dissipate.

I've hung them all up in the kitchen. I have a big pan of chilli cooking maybe that will help with the smell ... they will all smell of chilli :rotfl:but at least that's better than smoke smell !

Hey SW it sounds like you had a great day ! I am so pleased your work have been so understanding and they are sorting a gentle return to work for you. I hope everything works out hopefully another 5 weeks and you will be fully recovered :)

The heating at work is fixed so the office was more bearable today. I am now sat next to a lovely lady which is such a relief. I've just been relaxing this afternoon watching tv. It's a lovely day and I feel like I should have been doing something outdoors but I figured I have 2 weeks off from Friday to enjoy the outdoors, I just hope the weather stays nice..

I sprayed the kitchen with some air freshener last night the 4in1 vanilla I bought from aldi the other day and left my clothes hanging overnight. It seems to have taken away the woodsmoke smell thankfully.

I've had my first bill from co-op energy and from 2 Jan till 1 April I have used electric £102.87 gas £113.59 and made 3 payments of £63.17 leave £23.85 to pay. So now the gas has greatly reduced as my heating has been off since end of March I may be paying too much monthly. I will see how things go. I need to check the bill and my usage and make sure they have billed me correctly

I have just finished work and am having some lunch from food stores. I now have 2 weeks off work :j
I've just confirmed the fence will be delivered later this afternoon.

The weather is glorious and I am just quick washing bedding from storage for DP's bed, it is already clean but this will freshen up the sheets etc

We will eat from stores over the weekend. We usually have a takeaway on Monday night when DP's arrive and then will get food in as and when needed. Hope the weather stays nice.
