Have changed browser on my laptop so I can see posts much clearer now & they are no longer overwriting the signatures. Still can't see the date of posts on my mobile phone so I will continue to put the date on each post until that is fixed.
Had a lovely dog walk on the common when I got home from work. Very sunny but a cold wind so it was nice when sheltered by the trees and bushes and very blustery still when out in the open. Good to get some fresh air and blow away the horrible day at work !
Had a chinese pork steak from the freezer for lunch, chopped up with some onion, courgette & red pepper & half a pack of microwave rice from aldee with some chinese five spice. Yum yum! DS & his gf have been shopping and they had pizza for tea. They asked me if I wanted the last 2 pieces so I have had that for my tea, saving money and cooking
I have bought a new harness for puppy dog, £10 and got DS to order using his amazon prime so I didn't have to pay for postage. She pulls so hard on her current harness I can't hold her. The lead clips to a ring on her back and she really puts her shoulders into it and drags me along ! The new harness has a ring on the front and should stop her pulling.0% credit card £1360 & 0% Car Loan £7500 ~ paid in full JAN 2020 = NOW DEBT FREE 🤗

Why did I think you were ill? I'm losing my marbles I am sure I read something about it on here. So glad you are not.
What a fantastic price for the food from Tesco and even better with vouchers. I cannot believe the storms barely affected you what a stroke of luck. Well done on getting the full state pension. I met one of my retired friends who inherited quite a bit and is now enjoying himself after year's of hard work.
I am not too sure what my state pension will be so I will investigate later in the year. All I know is that my teacher's pension will be v low if I retire early. Still it is worth considering.Aiming for a minimal spend 20221 -
Thanks to lovely people on pensions thread I found it really easy to check state pension on Gov.uk & set up online account with passport or P60 or just with your latest payslip which is what I used. If you scroll past the full amount it tells you what you have earned so far & how much longer you need to pay in for full amount. You may already have enough credits SW. You can also check your credits are correct. I’ve been working since 1984 age 16 when I left school and went to college for A levels, I worked part time weekends & holidays ! Not in same job all that time thankfully. 😉0% credit card £1360 & 0% Car Loan £7500 ~ paid in full JAN 2020 = NOW DEBT FREE 🤗

At least you will get an idea of how many more years you will need for a full state pension SW.
Well nobody loves me today, it wasn't a great surprise that there was not a mountain of cards to open
I popped into morresons on the way home for milk and got reduced hairspray (lids were missing). Also got a frozen curry for dinner, cheaper than a takeaway. .
Came home and cut the grass. It has got so long and so I wanted to give it a quick cut before the awful weather forecast for the weekend. Also washed work clothes and mostly dried outside. Walked the dog to the park where she had a run around after her ball & then emptied the dishwasher when I got back. Clothes are now finishing on airers.
I am working next week but I am off the week after when we are all going up north including the dog for a week. Am looking forward to seeing family again.
Was supposed to be going to lunch with friends tomorrow but I think it will be cancelled unless the weather forecast is wrong!

The weather for tomorrow doesn't look good. I didn't get any either. Well done on bargains in Morrisons. I cant believe you are still cutting the grass. I haven't done mine for months. My garden is almost waterlogged with all the rain. lol. Well done on housework. I am not going out either tomorrow I hope the weather is not too bad.Aiming for a minimal spend 20220

Had a good day yesterday and the weather has been dry and windy so it’s the first time the grass has been cut since about October. Its well draining so was fairly dry. I have a lightweight hover mower so it’s similar to hoovering. 😉 only lighter and no emptying!I have to get jobs done when I feel able as some days I can’t do much. The park is only a 5 minute walk away and the plastic ball thrower takes all the effort out of throwing the ball for the dog. I couldn’t have managed an hour rambling on the common with her as well as cut the grass 😉
Still not sure on the weather today ⛈ it’s dry and breezy outside this morning. Have fed the dog and she is now snoozing so I will go back to bed for a bit and try to get a bit more sleep and see what the weather is like later. Storm Dennis is expected mid morning!0% credit card £1360 & 0% Car Loan £7500 ~ paid in full JAN 2020 = NOW DEBT FREE 🤗

I'm chilling and am in my pjs still. We are waiting for a big storm so I am not even going to venture out at all. Have a good day. I don't think I like this new format as now I am not looking at any other forums just this forum so I feel as though I am missing something.Aiming for a minimal spend 20221

Well it was a lovely sunny morning here. Got the bus to town about 10.30am with my friend. £2.15 each & they run every 10 minutes so not long to wait and we met up with 2 other friends. We had a wander round the shops then went for lunch at the Thai cafe £7.20 with free tea. ☺️It had just started to rain when we came out of the cafe so we went inside the shopping centre and I bought a new top, new shoes & a new purse in primarni £15 paid from Christmas pressie money from DF. 😊Then we went in the ice cream parlour for ice cream & another cup of tea £5. I had fererro rocher ice cream 😋 Taxi home £3 each bit more expensive than a bus but quicker and drier by taxi !
Got home about 3.30pm & took dog to the park in my waterproof coat & trousers & wellies. It is windy and wet out there but not too bad. Tomorrow is meant to be worse here in the south. Hope everyone else is ok x0% credit card £1360 & 0% Car Loan £7500 ~ paid in full JAN 2020 = NOW DEBT FREE 🤗
