Had a walk with the dog on the common yesterday in the sun :) which made a nice change to the pouring rain the day before!

My new boots arrived and are lovely, like a pair of slippers :D The shoes are a little tight but I will wear them in around the house with some thick socks on so by the time the weather is warm enough to wear them outside without socks they should be comfy :p great for £25.

I used those charity bags that come through the door and put some of DS clothes & household stuff out this week for collection which was picked up by age uk. I am still on a decluttering mission.

It’s very windy out there this morning so I am hoping to get bedding dried on the line later. Aiming for a no spend weekend

Hurrah for shoes, I think you are doing the right thing and breaking them in gently. It is raining here so no chance of drying on the line. Well done on decluttering and healthy walk.

  • It started raining yesterday as soon as the washing was hung out :(
Fetched it back in to dry on airers once heating came on last night. Then walked the dog in the rain.

Spent most of the day pottering and watching tv. Was not feeling well and was ill last night and this morning :( so I am still in bed. Dog is with DS’s girlfriend. DS has gone to work.

If I feel like eating later I have food in fridge/freezer/stores. I may just make some veg soup. I am hoping to be ok to go to work tomorrow and will get a bread roll from the freezer to take food instead of buying in the canteen. This worked well last week and I only bought stuff 1 day which I paid for from entertainment budget.

I hope you feel better. As to spending we are all cutting back and I am really proud as I am a lazy so and so. We will all be rich by the end of the year hopefully.

Have a good day. I hope it gets better.

  • Feeling a bit better tonight. Have managed to eat a little.

I had an email from shoe zone as I still had an unpurchased item in my online shopping bag. They sent me a 10% off code so I bought them :p With free home delivery they were a bargain. Paid from my Xmas money from DF. I didn’t realise they did other brands of shoes until I started looking on their website ! I will now own 2 pairs of shoes and 1 pair of boots total spend £34.97 :D

Well done on the great price for shoes. That price is fantastic.

I hope you feel better once you have rested.

  • Have been off work poorly today. Think I have a virus, feeling shaky and needing to lie down. Still at least it saves petrol !

Was even too ill to do some decluttering, tried and failed, had to lie down. :o

Managed to eat an egg this morning. Have ordered KFC for dinner. Probably not the best thing to eat but thinking of anything else makes me feel ill. If I must eat something I would rather just eat a little of what I fancy !

Hoping to feel well enough to go back to work tomorrow.
