  • Had a brilliant result yesterday when I phoned to chase up my missing breakdown cover membership card. Took a 35 minute phone call (free, luckily:j) to track down the fact that their membership system had been on the blink at the time I paid (and I definitely did pay as the money had definitely left my account). I've been unknowingly driving round for over 6 weeks with no breakdown cover so it's a good thing I didn't need a call-out;).

Anyway, without me complaining or asking for redress the woman on the phone said she was going to write off the full cost, restore my membership from yesterday and send me a full refund of what I paid:T. It was all very very civil and friendly. Restored my faith in big business, customer service, the whole world:rotfl:. Obviously the money hasn't arrived yet but it's something unexpected to look forward to:j

  • Well done to everyone who has been posting about money being made recently:beer:. February is turning out to be a good month for a lot of us:j

No tabletop sale to go to today:(. Bit of a mixed blessing as I've so many jobs to tackle at home instead, such as giving the kitchen a good 'bottoming'.

I hope everyone who hasn't had the time to post lately is OK and making money behind the scenes;). Lynne, I hope you are enjoying time with your DS:). A British February must be a shock to his system after the sun of Ibiza:eek: but it's been a bit warmer here this week and I hope you've had the same:beer:.

  • Sorry to hear about your connectivity issues, Aesop. I sympathise as similar problems have had me tearing my hair out more than once especially this past few months:eek:. I think I've got it sorted only for it to happen again after a few weeks. Looking forward to my new ISP taking over next Saturday:j but won't be holding my breath that everything will be totally glitch free from then on. I hope it's not going to be a case of 'out of the frying pan' and all that;). Can't be any worse though, plus it will be considerably cheaper:j

I'm not doing too well this month though my mum has another bag of books to return to me so I can add them to my latest WBB bundle, I'm going to hang on for another 10 or 15 percent extra code if I can before trading them.

I've listed a large collection only item on eBay again, let's hope the idiot from 200 miles away that bought it the last two times I listed it doesn't buy it again :rotfl: (He can't, I've blocked him!)
