Ok - so quite a few items listed on eBay now.
7 boxes of books, DVDs and CDs all parcelled up and waiting for Hermes to collect them on Thursday. If they pay what they say on screen then I will get almost £140. I am anticipating they will say 'does not meet standards on some things', even though I think they are all in perfect condition.
I have more to list on eBay.
I now have the spring cleaning bug because of all this clearing out. I've been in the shed and we have enough paint to decorate 2 bedrooms. OH a bit fed up that he is being roped in to this, but it will be so worth it once it's done. Decorating will be done beginning of March I think. I may use some of the income from this month's challenge to buy new curtains.....maybe (because in all honesty there's nothing wrong with the curtains I have....so it's a want, not a need).
I just need to keep repeating that mantra......do I want it, do I need it....:rotfl:DFW Nerd No. 1484 LBM 07/01/15 Debt was £95k  Now debt free and happy :j0 -

Well done, January on your big decluttering spree and the fantastic amount of potential profit from selling what you unearthed:j:beer:. Positive vibes for everything being accepted at the original offer price. It's amazing what extra money can be made from all sorts of different ways once we get into the mind-set.;) I love this thread:T as it's given me lots of much-needed kicks up the rear (in the nicest way of course;)). Every penny helps, as they say.
As for your need it or want it mantra, I often refer to it myself whenever I see particularly brilliant cashback offers on TCB or Quidco. Certainly not worth my deciding I need to buy something when it's only a want just to earn a bit of cashback:o. For one thing I can't really afford to buy anything much and my whole approach to spending has totally changed now I have no credit cards and have to pay for it with money I actually have. Anything I make on this challenge is going towards my Emergency Fund (probably towards a new-to-me car ready for when my very old 'friend' finally becomes non cost-effective to repair and run).0 -

£10 for some old paving slabs we inherited from the inlaws when we thought they might be useful to our garden. Turned out they weren't and have just been looking ugly on the driveway for a few months instead. A tenner for someone to come and take them away again...bargain!£10 a day 2017 - APR £60.12 / MAR £82.24 / FEB £142.82 / JAN £241.240

Well done to everyone making money:beer:. angelicious, congratulations on making your target so early in the month. Brilliant:j. If anyone has children on half-term I hope you're not having to spend too much;)
Sold a couple of books on Amazon yesterday (only cheap ones so very little profit to add when I eventually get it) which will get posted today. Will probably put my listings on 'holiday setting' until I get my new ISP set up as I suspect I'm not getting notifications and emails. Discovered these 2 sales purely by chance:eek:. I won't miss any mega profits as I've been busy culling/repricing my list anyway and have so few books listed at the moment anyway. 100% positive feedback is very hard to maintain and I don't want things beyond my control to jeopardise it;)
Forgot to add the £11.09 from the previous sales. With all the internet connection shenanigans my record system (such as it is:rotfl:) is all over the place.0 -
I have another £5 to add. The other day I went to sign up with Slidejoy and it turned out that I had used it in the past and I had a lovely surprise of £5 waiting for me.
Total for month so far is £905.
Plus plodding on with various survey sites but nothing at cash in points yet.0 -
A very small £1.90 to add for me but every bit counts.:):)January NSD8/100
