I actually did some flying today! This feels like an achievement... Had a nice chat with a friend, and I'm also feeling a smidge bit better about a situation that has been driving me bonkers - to be fair, I could hardly feel worse than last week! Hugs to all who need or like hugs
Atypicalblonde - I know what you mean about poor sleep. I know I'm so much less resilient when I'm tired; and if I get upset I sleep badly the next night...

Chin up Dizzy hope tomorrow is a better day x
I squeezed an hour's flying in between jobs. Bathroom was done yesterday so I quickly ran the Hoover around the whole house, rehomed various bits of gibble, swished the kitchen floor, put a load of washing in and set the meatballs cooking for tea.
Then I did some work on job no. 2, back to job no. 1 for a meeting and home to chill out a bit. Bedtime now!0 -
Hi all
Got a little tied up with two poorlies and toddler yesterday but did manage to wipe the blinds in the bathroom - they were shocking......also managed to clean toilet and sink whilst little guy in the bath.
Today I need to sort poorlies bedding and change both their beds and collect car from garage at some point.
Have a good day all x0 -

Good Morning lovely fly ladies,
Black bin day today, doing a quick dash round with a black bag chucking and flinging, and clearing the fridge of bits that need chucking.
Going to try to get the vacuum cleaner to play nice and not spit. Replacement has already been dispatched, hope its here tomorrow. Upstairs looks shocking, it's clean, it's tidy but the floor needs a good clean.
DD already on her way to school, just me and dam dog here so I should make headway this morning. Going to pick a few bits up after lunch so need to make my meal plan beyond tomorrow.
Hugs to everyone whether you need them or not xxxx0 -
Morning all. Keeping it basic today because I really need to get this dress sown. I shouldn't be so late home from work tonight - that'll help! List for later:
Terrible Tuesday - Kitchen
Clear and wipe kitchen surfaces
Level Two...
Sort fridge bringing what needs using soon to the front, clean out any spills or grots in there!
Get some sewing done!

Morning all
DH's birthday, and we're still waiting to hear if he is going to the horse piddle this afternoon.
I have actually done a bit of work on my assignment this morning - typed out the passage on which I have to write a commentary, with the separate "idea-sized" chunks on separate sheets of A4, stuck them on the cupboard doors and scrawled notes and thoughts on each of them. It's a start!
Today's plan will doubtless change as the day goes on, depending on what the horse piddle says and does:
- Phonecall re cancellation of something
- DH to phone horse piddle to check if being admitted
- Fly round the kitchen
- SW weigh-in
- Early lunch????
- Then to horse piddle???????????
- College tonight????? - depends on what happens to DH, but I hope I can go because it's the start of a new module.
All very much up in the air, which is not good for my blood pressure....
Will update later; meanwhile sending (((hugs))), GWS vibes, sticks and spoons to all as needed, with an extra large handful of spoons for LW x0 -
Morning all,
Hugs to all who need them.
I tackled the downstairs bathroom yesterday and managed to clean the toilet and sink before deep cleaning the shower which was overdue! I don't feel like I'm making much progress but it's a start.
My little girl is napping so I'm going to start in the kitchen. Aim to do the washing up, clean the surfaces and hang up the washing before she wakes.0 -
All I managed to do yesterday was empty a bin from upstairs......and tidy a few bits and pieces. Hoping to do a bit more today, the bathrooms need doing so the plan is to at least clean the toilets and sinks if nothing else!0
