Just a quick question, what do I wipe down doors with? And how do I clean the radiators?

Hot water with detergent in, and a cloth, I use a microfibre one. I use multi surface cleaner, but any detergent that's not too soapy would work. Swill the cloth in the water, wring it out then off you go. Rinse the cloth in the water as necessary.
For the back of the radiator drop a towel down and wipe. Unless you've a long thin duster.
Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY

  • Morning all :)

I am in, thank you so much for the lists xx

Had a rubbish night's sleep with DS again - he needs a wee a lot in the night it seems. Tried putting him on the toilet when we go to bed, at which point he always does a big wee, but still gets up at least a couple of times a night too. Very tired ATB, plus I have had some very odd dreams lately. Going for reiki in a few weeks, hoping that will help.

WM and TD have both been on twice, and WM has just finished a 90degree wash. Kids dropped at school and pre-school, called at butchers, posted a letter, done a load of admin now having a brew before I get cracking.

If anyone has some sun to spare please please send some my way, these grey skies are dampening my spirit somewhat

Big hugs especially to Dizzy - here holding your hand love xx

Thank you ladies :) Grabbing all the virtual hugs on offer...

Sitting on the sofa with a cup of tea, trying to find some positive thoughts. I'm a bit tearful and tired. So tired.

We were stuck on the M6 for an hour and a half last night, just behind a really nasty accident, which was upsetting. Lots of blue lights and shuffling of vehicles to allow ambulances through. Hated being so close to it all and massively aware of we had been 10 cars ahead, my family could've been hurt. Now I feel guilty that I was glad it wasn't us. Not sure if everyone was OK or not as the cars were completely wrecked and the motorway was strewn with debris and belongings.

Got home at 1am totally knackered, then was woken three times by Small shouting and crying about his knee hurting, zombies chasing him (no more Scooby Doo for a while) and being hot, so I am actually the walking dead.

Flying? I'll try in a while.

Welcome Babes 21, Heebie Jeebies, KScour, Little Frugal Cottage and Turning Grey.

(((Hugs))) Dizzy. Of course you were relieved it wasn't your car, your family, your children. That doesn't make you a bad person, just reflective enough to recognise how dangerous life is and be thankful.

*&%£$! to KH for upsetting your lovely DD, Valli.

Blown lightbulb replaced, schnozzi-beak blown a million times, coughing like a beagle, generally unwell and suffering. As we both are. I've also got the shower room to sparkle and the superking to change but it's very, very slow progress today.
    Better is good enough.

    Morning,

Welcome new flyladies, lovely to have you with us. And big soggy raspberries to KH, Valli, what a !!!!!

Has it really been a year, natty? Wowsers! Wishing you some more gentle times ahead xx

Well, I'm sat in my study, does that count? Lol. I made a start on bathrooms last night, but I've had shopping to do this morning.

Took DS football shirt to see if it could be made right but seems nothing can be done. He did suggest I could buy a fake one in Egypt for less than £5

Just having my first :coffee: (how does that keep happening?) then I'll start on my desk... Need to have a homework afternoon...

Hi everyone, can I join you this week? Kept trying to fly-lady on and off for a while and then life just got in the way. However we've moved 2 weeks ago from a one bed flat into a 3 bed house and the whole thing is a bit overwhelming (feeling a bit mentally fragile over the whole thing to be honest!) So thought I'd give fly-ladying a go once again to try and get on top of things.

I can recommend it. I had Reiki some years back; one of Penny-Dog's friend's owner was a practitioner, and she offered me free sessions. It was really good.

Dizzy It's called "survivor guilt". Give yourself time; and know that being relieved that it wasn't your family does not make you a bad person.

Doing what I can manage this week, as ever; but I may be lurking a bit; I had some news that kinda knocked me for six, still trying to process it. Don't want to talk about it though. At least not yet.
If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)

    Afternoon

I'm in thank you for all the lists xx

Been to work to help out for a short while, which turned into the long while! any way all done
    Shopping done and away
    Lunch eaten.

Checked my front tyre and a slither of rubber is missing off the tread bit, this has panicked me, so once I do this I am off to a local tyre place for their advise, as with my long drive, or even short ones for that matter, I do not need a tyre burst from a weak tread.
