  • Thanks Lamewolf. I am having some massage at the same time, really hope it helps, I am feeling quite wobbly and a massive part of that is due to having such sh!te sleep. If it helps it will become a regular fixture in my life - fed up of spending my money and time on everyone else but me!

We are here to listen whenever you want to talk about it x

Welcome to all the new Flyladies. The trick is to do things regularly, but start with Level 1 and work your way up to Level 3 gradually as you are able - some of us rarely touch Level 3!

    Progress so far today:
[STRIKE]- Phone bank first thing re inability to log in to charity business account, and get the login re-set[/STRIKE]
[STRIKE]- Go for my routine 6-monthly hospital check [/STRIKE] - all OK; only an hour's wait!
[STRIKE]- Go to PO to pay in charity cash and cheques
    - Buy DH's birthday present
    - Steam-clean bathroom[/STRIKE]
    - [STRIKE]DH's tea in SC[/STRIKE]
    - WM [STRIKE]x1[/STRIKE] x2
    - Finish tidying and filing in study bedroom (very little to do :D)
    - Sort PoA - paid for assisted form-filling while it's cheap as Martin suggested in his email :money:, guidance forms printed out, and started inputting the basic info, but it will take several days or even weeks to finish because there's a lot to think about
    - Do some reading for my next college assignment
    - Go out for evening meal with friends.

Will finish tidying the study and do some reading before I go out. A cuppa first, I think.

Well, I had a fight with my vax vacuum cleaner, bought it in August last year and it keeps spitting things out, I gave him a warning but he did not listen so I phoned the lovely lady at vax customer services, she had a listen to him and told me the motor has a fault and she will send me a new one straight away. Well done Vax, I expected to put up a bit of a battle but they could not have been better.
I have done a bit today but as it DH day off ,I have not done as much as I would have liked. Still tomorrow's another day as they say.
Big hugs to you all whether you need them or not! Xxxx

  • Oooooh hello everyone, I don't know how it is today already, I haven't posted for a week! Life is busy busy.

Thanks for the list Natty, and it will be lovely to "see" more of you.

Welcome to all new people, and de-lurking lurkers.

Hugs to Dizzy, LW, ATB, Valli, MrsMP and anyone else I've missed in need of hugs.

This morning before the paid stuff I swished the toilet and sink, sorted Dw and WM, made the beds, while down the worktops and emptied the kitchen bin and recycling bin. Lunchtime did money moving.

Now for this evening, I'm going to print off the list from last week (new idea) and start to tackle the level ones. If I can be bothered and if OH will walk the dog instead of me. If I look busy enough he will!

Good evening everyone, and welcome to new flyladies. Lots of ((hugs)) all round as it sounds like there are a fair few in need.

Hmmm...flying... I think I peaked before going to work! Towels flung in WM, airing cupboard emptied and clean clothes returned to rightful owners, a super speedy S&S of the basins and toilets, and everyone dispatched in vaguely the right directions with pack ups. And yay! the car passed its MOT.

Dinner cooked and eaten, kitchen tidied, WM run, and am now in a heap on the settee. I'm right out in sympathy with all those suffering sleep deprivation - I've only had a couple of nights on the trot waking up at 3am and am tonight like a zombie. The eyelids are drooping... I think the rest of today's level ones are going to have to wait.

Hubby has taken a car load full of rubbish to the tip this morning. Just my cleaning products and food cupboard to declutter/sort out now.

I've put a few loads of washing in this evening and need to do a quick clean of the kitchen. Hubby is currently decorating our 3rd bedroom.

The In-laws kindly invited us for dinner this evening so no cooking this evening for us.

The bathroom was cleaned yesterday, so far on track.

    Welcome to all newcomers.
    From original plan:
[STRIKE]Mon: Drop Mr N at MIL while I go to Clubbercise.[/STRIKE] Rest of the day working my way down various lists and reports.
    [STRIKE]Pay cc bill.[/STRIKE]
Get rid of at least 10 actions from my task list which seems to be multiplying again. only did 3 or 4
[STRIKE]Double-check RSPB bird count on line as it gave an error message when I'd input them all (5 fairies to report, yay)[/STRIKE].Had a fabulous sight while working on the computer this afternoon; 11 - yes 11- fairies came to the feeders right outside my computer. I've never seen so many and they flitted backwards and forwards for nearly an hour. Great for my concentration!

    Also one load through WM.
Checked out a load of cabinets and bookshelves on line for MIL.
Did a bit more to last year's holiday photobook which is taking forever (sorry Froddington)
Got some info on a student I'd been waiting for, so wrote that up.

So not terribly fly-like but busy.
Remember...a layer of dust protects the wood beneath it.
