Updated PP list looks like this:-
[STRIKE]Aloe Vera deodorant
Urban Decay Perversion mascara deluxe size
[/STRIKE]Decleor BB cream - mini from advent calendar
[STRIKE]Our Minerals colour correcting primer- mini again from calendar
Boots Extracts Coconut body scrub 75ml
[/STRIKE]LUSH Prince shave cream
LUSH Lemony Flutter
[STRIKE]Liz Earle no 100 fragrance sample vial
L'Occitane foot cream full sized
L'Or!al conditioner from hair colour kit
[/STRIKE]
Hoping to UU the Decleor BB cream at weekend. I got it in my advent calendar however suspect it is medium shade as it is quite orange looking. I cann manage using it at the weekend under Laura Geller Balance N Brighten but won't chance wearing it for work.
Painted my nails last night using Rimmel Euphoria which was gorgeous colour. Thought I had given it enough drying time prior to bed but alas this morning my right hand looked really badly smudged. Changed it for OPI Red my Fortune Cookie. Want to try the Rimmel one again on Saturday when I go out.Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. Benefit No Pressure eyeshadow thrown away. Laura Mercier Rose Gold Caviar Stick swapped in. Still going strong.
Smashbox Full Exposure pallette. Pannage getting bigger.
Kat Von D eyeliner. Still going strong. Love this product.
Benefit Dallas blush. Pannage getting bigger.
Lush Lemony Flutter. Again pannage getting bigger. Can't say this actually does anything though.
Feel as though all come to a grinding halt with the exception of the Kat von D liner which feels like it is drying a little now.
Am bored of using Dallas and my Smashbox pallette (especially now I have the new Too Faced one) however will persevere as we have a good month left on this challenge yet.
Must get back into using the Lemony Flutter too but I really don't like it. Not convinced it is doing anything for my cuticles at all.Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. Happy birthday Valm and gemzie great news about the job, I bet sending that letter made you feel like you have closure and are able to move on to bigger and better. It is a pity that you could not presue justice but sometimes the best revenge is living well and letting karma take effect. I truely beleve that you will be better off in a nicer place and working with supportive teams and seeing the impact of your work. I know thast you were very close to your service users but the managemnet sounded terrible.
i had a mini clear out catrice water proof smoky eye mascara.
Catrice mascara they become sticky after a while
Maybelline lipstick in nude, it is a 1960 nude and I look ill with it. I used it three times in a year so I think I have to be pragmatic and get rid.
I am currently loving the wet n wild mascara for 2.50 (bargain) and got rid of the older ones that are sticky and a bit nearing three months old. There is no fall down or smudging so i am so happy with the new mascara.
Currently loving the custom mix of the foundations, it is staying better on the face that the prginal products and with the amount of whitening drops it fits my colouring more. I made the mix using the primark pallet.
I am looking everywhere to find a larger container to allow me to use up the guerlain meteroites as i have them over 13 years and feel i fould finish the tester pot. The sample size pot is too small to swirl big brushes that i have now.
I hit pan on another shade of the naked 2 pallet foxy so dissapointed in this colour as it seemed to pan very easily and has a slight chalky texture but i am determined to persist with this pallet. I have also been using exclusively a guerlin lipstick that was insane expensive, it is roaring red colour so I have to use it with plain eyeshadows.
I have been considering that i will always love make up and skin care up but to give myself a budget in the month so that i have to plan what i want not implusively buying something cause it is sparkly. I don't know if it would work but it might be motivating to have to think about every new splurge. But i tend to buy cheap as well as expensive, I might need to have a limit of x out before a new in, Any suggestions would be great!0 -

I am limiting myself in two ways. Firstly, I am assigning space to a particular product and I cannot go outside that space. So I have a plastic container for my nail varnish and I cannot buy more until I have made room in the container. Secondly I am having number limits on some products. So, I am aiming for having one item in use and one item in reserve for things like body lotion and shower gel.
I am also just constantly reminding myself of what else I could buy with the money. I still love beauty products, but it does make me really sad to think about what I have spent on products and then think about the great experiences I could have had with that money.0 -
VALM - exactly same thing happened to me with a body puff I don't think they last, actually went for a fake sea sponge this time as thought it would last better! Also happy belated birthday!!0

I have a budget of £30 per month plus £1 for every item UU in the previous month, UU 10 items in January so my February budget is £40. This has to cover those items which I don't stash (shampoo, shower gel, so high risk if I overspend!), as well as any treats. I have an outright ban on problem areas i.e. highlighter, blusher, perfume, and should have a lipstick ban in place too but can't quite face it. Last year I ended up breaking even on ins & outs - I tend to buy lots of cheaper things rather than high-end.
UUs in the last few days:
2x samples
White eyeshadow
I also hit mega pan on my brow powder which I've been using for at least 4 years, and a brown eyeshadow. I reckon they'll be gone by 2030.0 -
Another three UU to report. I think February will be a good month!
Trilogy night creme. WBA. Love this but have a few other bits to use before I replace.
Acqua de Parma eau de toilette sample. WNBA. A bit strong for me.
Ren one minute flash. WNBA. Seemed to go a funny colour once it was open. Worked ok as a scrub but wouldn't bother again. Not buying unnecessary toiletries 2024 26/53 UU, 25 IN0 -
One UU:
Lush Twinkle Toes foot powder sample WNB. I don't seem the benefit of a foot powder0 -
I have a fair amount of UU to report! Aaand some good news at last!! I start my new job on monday 20th!! Nervous but looking forward to getting out there again and getting my pride back. Rather enjoyed writing my resignation letter and making it clear to my old employers that i felt i had no choice and that it was a fundamental breach of my contract and broken the relationship of trust by their actions. (For those who dont know i lost my job of 5 years in september last year due to disability discrimination). I cant afford to take them to tribunal but heyho, starting over again, and hopefully ill get my pride and confidence back. I just hope i pass the 6 months probation period! Gonna go and do my best!
Hi Gemzie
Just to let you know it might be cheaper to take your old company to tribunal than you think, especially if you speak to ACAS. They will be able to help you with the process and then if you do have to take them to tribunal you would only have the court fees to pay as it is something you can do yourself without the need for a solicitor.Did owe £9,951.96
