A new IN arrived today, full sized body wash to test. Smells ok, a bit weak perhaps so will report back once I've used it.Life is a coin, you can spend it anyway you wish, but you can only spend it once.
Go as far as you can see, and when you get there you'll see further.

Am@zon often offer me stuff out of season, but they excelled themselves with this one:
Burt's Bees Christmas Tree Bauble With Lip Balm and Hand Salve.
I said yes, anyway. I collect Christmas tree decorations and will use the hand salve.Erma Bombeck, American writer: "If I had my life to live over again... I would have burned the pink candle, sculptured like a rose, that melted in storage." Don't keep things 'for best' - that day never comes. Use them and enjoy them now.0 -
Hi Gemzie
Just to let you know it might be cheaper to take your old company to tribunal than you think, especially if you speak to ACAS. They will be able to help you with the process and then if you do have to take them to tribunal you would only have the court fees to pay as it is something you can do yourself without the need for a solicitor.
Have spoken to acas, been through the early conciliation process but my employers have managed to cover their backs including some members of staff have lied/spoken against me to cover them. They wont budge on the decision even though both my gp and 3 solicitors i have spoken to feel that it is discrimination and unreasonable. The fees i have been quoted and my best chance they feel (acas) would have been solicitor but I just cant afford it as all my savings have been blown on the last six months of having sick pay only. Im just glad to move on to be honest. Only reason i would have gone to tribunal if i had the money would have been to make them see that they cant treat people like this & to stop another disabled member of staff recieving the same treatment. I only had so long to bring a case and my employers took so long responding and faffing around that my time to bring my case expired, even if i had of had the money. Unfortunately i dont think ill be allowed to bring a case when i have wages again as time is up... But will look into it. Just glad to be out of there and moving on now, hopefully my new employer will be much better. Its with my council and they tend to be good employers and the role is much more suitable for me (admin/reception). Hopefully be safer and more appreciated! Can only hope. My old employers used me for 5 years having me do everything then re structured and decided to get rid of me by having me do a new role suddenly that i couldnt physically do. At least at new job they are good in that if your tole becomes redundant they ensure you are moved to a role that you can safely do. Fingers crossed for more luck here and as others said gonna draw a line under it and start againthankyou xx

I pledge to only buy when I run out of a product that is not already in my stash no matter what wonderful emails land in in my Inbox or threads I read on MSE re: glitches!

thankyou xx
I understand exactly what you're saying. Sometimes it's best to just move on and put it down to experience. I'm pretty sure though that they can look at the amount of time you were out of work and the lost earnings during that period. Not sure if there's a cap on the length of time, think it's up to 12 months, but might be worth looking into even if you don't persevere with it. I also know the tribunal can extend the time given to bring a claim in certain circumstances. Your previous employer was obviously playing on the fact you only had three months to bring a claim. Sometimes, if you've got the money, it's worth bringing a claim within the timeframe just to get the ball rolling.
I also work for my local council and absolutely love it. I've been there nearly a year already and work with a lovely bunch of people and love the department I work in.
I'm sure you'll love it too and your previous employer will become a distant memory awayDid owe £9,951.96
