Abundant you did make me laugh threatening to fire me out of a cannon.
Today had DDs 16 month MMR booster. She coped very well. Probably helped it was one jab this time not the four lots they have given (plus oral meds) on previous appointments.
Signed off last year's accounts at the accountants.
Walked a lot, to accountants and then on to school, around 2.5 hours in total.
Dinner was a use it up affair to clear through some of the roast chicken and veg from yesterday. Wacked it in some spaghetti very nice.
NSD.
Gratitudes

2. My son enjoying his first hockey session at school today. He hasn't been a fan of rugby so far, so he can do that instead.
3. For OH going straight from work to the business to do me a favour tonight.
Night.

Before I head to my cabin, for my much needed beauty sleep, I just want to share my friend's experience last weekend. She's spent all her money that day on a stupid lunch out with friends she couldn't say no to, and her electric key card only had 99p in it. Shortly after tea, she instructed her husband to pretend he's not in a good mood and send the kids to bed early. It was because she didn't want her kids to witness the electricity going kaput when the 99p runs out. To help send the kids to bed early without much protest, they decided to walk around the block before bed time. Her husband said, if only he had at least £5 to top up the electrics they wouldn't have to pretend and deceive the kids that way. Just as he was thinking that guess what they found on the street? A £5 roadkill. They were so happy they found exactly what he was hoping for at just the right moment. Needless to say, the "blackout" didn't happen."There is Life AFTER DEBT."LBM 2009 Total Debt £49046.24 Debt Free as of 27/08/20150

Had another good day today, Once a month I take people to a dinner that the church put on , (Its for old people really to give them company ) and they are a lovely bunch of people who run it .been going for years and I always get dinner too ,Its run on donations so if anyone cant afford a meal they dont have to pay , so my donation was to the church today , and bonus ,I came home with extra dinners as theyd made too many . plus a BIG carton ( Ice cream size) of peas and another of carrots as theyd prepped and cooked too many and asked if I could use them ,Called at DD house and she was just making stew, so used half of the peas & carrots and I did the same when I got home,, so cheap meal for everyone tomorrow,
Did an hours walking with the hound of the Baskerville this morning, SW weigh day tomorrow so hopefully ill have lost my goal of 1 lb a week , also decided to try and do something with my hands as this weather is making them so rough , so strategically placed hand cream everywhere I need it , at the side of my computer, bathroom sink , kitchen sink etc,,,,,,,, and told myself to use it every time im in water etc, hopefully will do some good,
for the people doing sw ,heres a recipe for using stuff up .... I haven't tried them , but they sound ok. another NSP day for me .

NSP 2/15 EXERSIZE 2/15 SW ON PLAN 3/15 EARLY NIGHT 3/150 -
Morning everyone,
Yesterday was a NSD thankfully, as will today
Might need a top-up shop tomorrow and it's a planned spend day anyway.0 -
NSD number 5 yesterday and today should be number 6. Didn't check in as progress was not great and then I went to play with the penguins (oh dear).
However being a turtle is being honest and admitting to the failures as well as the successes. I started well, woke naturally at 8am (that's normal? really ? I managed normal). Went to get breakfast and did quite a bit in the kitchen - putting away washing up, pegged out a load of washing, moved cans from the kitchen table to spaces on the under satirs shelves.
Started my room (yes I put one sheet and a cover on the bed and slept with all the mess - every poke in the back was a reminder to get it sorted). I had found the roll of labels and armed with a pile of reusable carrier bags (+ some boxes and more bags I found as I worked through the detritus) I weeded out and labelled clothes (clean ones brought up and things like cardigans and gloves that are put on one day and not needed another), sheets, pillowcases (going back on the bed, can't go where they are stored because the door was blocked by the following), books and charity stuff to go out of the house, coathangers (DS3 borrowed a bag last week - didn't tell me he had left all the hangers in it on my bedroom floor), pots and recycling to go to the kitchen (kept adding things from their room when they were downstairs), material other than embroidery fabric, shoes and a huge bolt of curtain linng. All neatly stacked outside my bedroom. Needed a lie down.
Made a start on the rest and got overwhelmed - this really is the problem and I need to do it. Did a bit then ran away to play with the penguins.
Have woken naturally again. Keep pulling out random piles and weeding out. Need to cut back on Christmas stuff (I have stopped buying Christmas mags but fell down on the embroidery ones before Christmas). I have enough Christmas cards, I am cutting down on decorating the house (simpler, more minimalist is what suits me rather than explosion in a tinsel factory) so I have just put a pile of patterns in the recycling. I have too many alphabets. Too much altogether and I need to be realistic. I have some pieces that I took a fancy to and enjoyed sewing them (patterned in strpes dachshund?) but they don't really go in my house.
Strictly speaking I cannot sell any products made using commercial patterns (breach of copyright but some magazines give permission for limited use) and I want to get into selling my own patterns (I was envying DS3 as all his is online, mine seems so physically present) so I need to continue with the clear out and refine what I am all about. This seems to be working. Maybe wasn't just fear/ idleness and my brain has distilled this overnight.
Determined to continue chipping away at it until it is done, with breaks to do the physical stuff - starting with washing up (had to hunt for a spoon to eat my yoghurt and they had already used all the forks - I even checked at the side of DS3's bed as he had 4 there the other day). Will need to go downstairs soon before the recycling bag gets too heavy.
For yesterday I am grateful for making a start, that Beloved made a lovely soup (but ignored the needed using veg on the table and used two bags of frozen veg) and for the underlying organisation showing in places. My mission in life is not only to survive, but to thrive and to do so with some Passion, some Compassion, some Humour and some Style.NST SEP No 1 No Debt No mortgage0 -
Today will be an SFD.
We used to eat about 9 pm after the kids are in bed and feed the kids right after we came home at 6pm (hm leftovers or sausages, pasta etc and various other easy meals but no rubbish). We usually did that Mo-Thu, due to time restraints and another reason was also that we like spicy food and some things the kids won't touch yet although they're pretty good eaters. Well, the time has come to stop this and eat together all most days. Since we stopped smoking we totally notice the difference the one ciggie after work made to our appetite. Now we started snacking, finishing the kids tea etc and then still have our tea. I started using fitness pal again in connection with my trainings plan and gosh what a difference those snacks make. We planned to eat more often with the kids anyway soon (they're 5 and 2), it as it also frees up time after their bed time to get on with things in the house. Just takes a bit of planning and changing my cooking habits to prepare more the day before or quicker meals.DEBT 02/25: total £6100 Debt free date 12/250 -
