Hi motivated - I hate it when something that I haven't budgeted for crops up and starts eating into other cash that has a different purpose. I'm sure that you'll manage, you've done really well in 2017 and come a long way.
Have a fabulously debt busting 2018
(and don't forget to start saving for the next dental emergency “Have nothing in your house that you do not know to be useful, or believe to be beautiful.”

Happy New Year Motivated!
It sounds like you already have some great plans in place for 2018. The unexpected dentist's bill is frustrating but that really is a genuine emergency, so don't feel bad about dipping into your emergency fund then building it back up slowly.
You may find you don't have to pay anything on the 8th anyway if your OH needs another follow-up appointment, or they will almost certainly let you pay the bill after the 15th if you explain you're waiting for payday. My dentist did in a similar situation (emergency root canal last New Year's).
There are bound to be annoying bumps in the road, but I know it won't distract you from reaching your ultimate goal. Here's to a debt-busting year for us all _party_0 -
Hi Emma and a Happy New Year to you and yours. Here’s to a new fresh year with debtbusting.
As for the dentists we will manage but the way I think now It’s as if I’m scared to spend any money
We just had a chat and he thinks he will be able to pay maybe half on the 8th and then then some each time he goes back for check ups, x rays etc. He said he will ring them tomorrow to check.
I think I’m turning into Ebeneezer Scrooge :rotfl:

Morning world
Back to work for me today. All back to normal now but I am quite glad to be honest. Now I feel I really am starting a fresh new year :T
Hopefully Work will be nice to me today and ease me back in gently
Here’s to 2018 being extra nice to the motivated household

 I hope everyone is still firmly on the ground in this wind
Got up to 3 fence panels down. I heard them going in the night but was too scared to get up and look. 2 are on the neighbours side so hopefully he will be replacing them and the one on my side just needs slotting back in. I hope.
DH will be pleased coming home from Work to have to deal with that but I certainly am not going out there, it’s dark and I’ve just washed my hair. It will get blown all over the place :rotfl:

Hi diary world.
Not much happening on the debt busting front and to be honest ive not been thinking about it this weekend. I’ve been a little. I’ve got an abscess (again) Had this problem a few years back (on my boob) of all places. Ended up having an op and all has been well for a few years. Now it’s decided to flare up out the blue and it’s painful and sore. So I’m feeling sorry for myself today lol.
I’ve put some drawing cream on it and hope it helps.
DH made me a cup of tea and that’s where the sympathy ended :rotfl:
I googled my, symptoms something you should never do when You're ill  According to Google I should’ve died weeks ago :rotfl:
I tend to get boils and abscesses when I’m run down, maybe I’m a bit under the weather
Had a hot bath and now just chilling with a cup of tea.
I saw 8 magpies today too. 8 for a wish. I wished I would be debt free as soon as humanly possible.
