As far as the insurance is concerned, it might be worth speaking to a broker? The systems of your existing insurer are, erm, not quite what you need!
Well done on the premium bonds! How did you manage the £83 portion? I've only been able to buy multiples of £25 ...2023: the year I get to buy a car4 -
Last month I pushed £250 and so this month I thought I would round it up if I could (so £383 takes it to the next £000) and it let me, paying by debit card. I thought £25 was just the minimum.
Good idea re a brokerSave £12k in 2025 #2 I am at £10,020.92 out of £6000 after September

We use a broker to find insurance for our house which is a listed building. Since we started using a broker I have found the process both easier and cheaper and most importantly saves me from stressing whether I have adequate cover.Fashion on a ration 2025 0/66 coupons spent
79.5 coupons rolled over 4/75.5 coupons spent - using for secondhand purchases

@Baileys_Babe Would you be willing to share who you use please? I looked at them all near me and they were mostly commercial with a few offering premium customers (car collections and the like) and the rest seemed to have very poor review comments.Baileys_Babe said:We use a broker to find insurance for our house which is a listed building. Sorry for taking such an age getting back to you. I needed to access the filing cabinet to get the proper information. My OH has been working ridiculous hours recently, including lots of video meetings and the cabinet is behind his chair, so my rummaging would have been distracting.Suffolk_lass said:

Thank you. In the meantime I checked the Money Advice Service and then BIB (British Insurance Brokers Association) and then trustpilot before contacting one less than ten miles from me. They are due to get back to me today. We will see if they are competitive !Baileys_Babe said:

That's great! Potentially, of course
Good luck. 2023: the year I get to buy a car3 -
Been a bit radio silence since 9th because I had my vaccination and had quite a severe reaction. Day 3 afterwards and things feel a bit more normal but my word it floored me. I am due to talk it through next week with the Doctors and have reported it to the MHRA. Hopefully it means my body is producing really good anti-bodiesSave £12k in 2025 #2 I am at £10,020.92 out of £6000 after September
