Great update, SL, on the vaccine, the insurance, and the wave to madvix2023: the year I get to buy a car6

I must finish the drawer and cupboard doors that are more or less painted (and discard the remnants in the tin) the last coat (which should have been the top coat) has left visible drag marks. The bottom of the tin was really rather claggy so a new tin needs to be broken open. Oh well! I've been faffing with seeds and plants which I prefer but I must keep it going to finish what I have started!Save £12k in 2025 #2 I am at £4863.32 out of £6000 after May (81.05%)

Absolutely, you've put so much work into that painting, it would be lovely to finish it off!2023: the year I get to buy a car3

Yes, you are right @Karmacat. I am going to move outside for the next lot as too big to accommodate in our small kitchen. Hoping for a bit of warmer weather to make that more pleasant!
In the dead zone of the financial month at the moment, nothing to tidy, statements anticipated. I loathe this period.
I must contact the electrician and the Doctor today - putting it here so I don't forget (Oh dear)!
I also need to get dressed after this coffee. I have a neighbour coming to collect some Aloe Vera plants - I had to repot mine again. Up to last year it was a compact plant with 15cm fleshy spikes. I clearly gave it far too much nutritious compost in a pot that was far too big as the spikes are around 40cm now and far too long for my kitchen windowsill! So I have kept around a dozen shoots and crammed them in a 10cm pot and the rest are off to be enjoyed elsewhere!
Oh yes, it is my birthday and we might make up the cold frame (£30 mid-Lid last Thursday) that DS collected. It's from my Mum (bless) with a cookery book I have wanted for literally, years (out of print, over £50). I must make sure I write down in a "When I am dead or demented" list/note that my cookery books are worth money - I have two that I know retail for over £100 in good conditionSave £12k in 2025 #2 I am at £4863.32 out of £6000 after May (81.05%)
