When I moved away from Leicester, I was flummoxed where to buy certain things, including a choice of wet fish retailers, buy furniture foam, my first thought before would always have been Leicester Market.Fashion on a ration 2025 0/66 coupons spent

We have lived here for over 16 years and have just found out there is a fishmonger who calls at different houses. I plan to catch him next week to see how he compares with the chap at the Friday market. We also have a refills lady coming to the Village once a month (same one as the market here) - I will take a look there too - always too much of a queue at the market for me. It is more about avoiding the queues than the quality for the fishmonger too. We just need a reasonably priced fruit and veg van now!!Save £12k in 2025 #2 I am at £4863.32 out of £6000 after May (81.05%)

Just a £1.50 Tilly Tidy to report financially, plus I paid my friend for the two hours apple tree pruning he did on the old trees that are too tall for me. I'm please to say we did actually use ladders and step stools - he looked very precarious climbing along old branches last time. We spent all of yesterday in the garden and are both feeling decrepit and creaky this morning! 🙄🙁 - only one thing for it, more of the same! DH plans to concentrate on rabbit fencing, I want to finish the two veg beds we left part done, and get the rest of the greenhouse sorted out (I might connect the hose to refill the butt by the greenhouse too - we are less likely to forget it if I am in it!!) - I might even plant some early seeds!Save £12k in 2025 #2 I am at £4863.32 out of £6000 after May (81.05%)

I finished painting the drawer front and decor panel that fit on the front of the dishwasher so DH attached the new, smaller handle and popped them back on yesterday - they look much better. We have just agreed I will do the new deep drawer front (last of these) and the remaining 400mm base cupboard door next. There is still a 600mm wide door to do but it is quite big to accommodate in the kitchen and the weather isn't reliably warm enough to do it outside yet, so leaving that, along with the enormous 800mm wide drawers (x4) and the larder doors (two tall, two full height base). Nearly there for phase 2 of 3Save £12k in 2025 #2 I am at £4863.32 out of £6000 after May (81.05%)

I really admire the way you've kept going and kept focussed on these doors, it must look so different now2023: the year I get to buy a car6

Feeling cross. Logged in to the HSBC account and no sign of my regular saver that is due to mature on Friday. A short chat and it is all planet bank. I really don't appreciate being told I can still access my money when it has disappeared with no word. How am I (the customer) supposed to know the difference between an antiquated banking process and fraud?
Not happy. No correspondence, no messages through secure messaging and no change in Ts&Cs to indicate it would be different to last year. And apparently they wrote to me on 9th Feb. Presumably from Hong Kong judging by the delay.Save £12k in 2025 #2 I am at £4863.32 out of £6000 after May (81.05%)

Well done on the kitchen doors. We want to repaint ours at some point. Really good quality doors but water stained and a horrible shade of brown varnish.DFW (08/08) £64,346.53 Gone (02/19)

Hi SL. It is very disconcerting when your money disappears into the ether when regular savers mature. Will you be setting up another ? The rates are so poor now, I don't think I will bother.
We will be painting all the kitchen cupboards in DDs new kitchen. They are currently a light wood colour and we are painting them grey and putting new handles on. It should look like a new kitchen. We are just debating what to do about the tiles. We were going to paint them, but are now debating taking them off and retiling.4
