If you are looking for really strong freezer containers for your chest freezer I can recomment hamster baskets Suffolk_lass. Odd named company but the baskets are very strong and are made to measure.
We've used them before at work for awkward -80 freezers and massive chest freezers as they are far more robust and much less likely to snap than plastic boxes.
*back to lurking...*Mortgage free as of 12/08/20!

DH is taking our 71 year old (maybe alcoholic) neighbour with Parkinsons for her vaccination this morning. She is very excited. Fortunately she has been prevented from being reckless by this lockdown (and her son and immediate neighbours, all lecturing her) - she was very gung-ho. Mind you, all the alcohol she takes, she and I always have a laugh that it probably means any dirt and disease stands no chance with her! - Then he will be cleaning the car...Save £12k in 2025 #2 I am at £4863.32 out of £6000 after May (81.05%)

Thank you, we take it where we can. DH said when he collected our neighbour she was already outside the house and completely terrified (needle phobic) but determined to go. She had been up since 3am fretting. When it happened she did not even notice as her eyes were tight shut and she was facing the other way. DH also saw our v vulnerable neighbour (incurable cancer) and I heard from a couple further down our road who were both getting theirs yesterday too. With 40% of our village households having someone who is technically vulnerable it is heart warming to hear they are getting their jabs.
In a purely selfish moment I watched Boris yesterday, hoping that they do not start prioritising by occupations until all the over 50s are done, as per the scientific evidence. We did suggest via our GP surgery's patient participation group that if they had time-limited doses left they could offer them to the school-teachers opposite the surgery, once the "can you be here in 15 minutes?" calls to key workers had been done.
It's very hard waiting and hoping for ours - sorry for the asideSave £12k in 2025 #2 I am at £4863.32 out of £6000 after May (81.05%)

Yes @IzzyBee and I know there are lots of us on here feeling emotional and low. We need to know we are not alone in feeling this way. If that feeling that we are all feeling like this helps any of us, we need to know the "team" of forumites will always be there to offer a few words of empathy or comfort to each other. Just as important as money saving at the moment.
The tipping point for me has been Clive Myrie's report for the BBC from inside The London Hospital. It made me feel very emotional, then his article for The Times talking about Hannah and her team in the mortuary had me weeping along with them. If you are able to read the article it really is written with such sensitivity and compassion. British journalism at its very best. Especially the last bit where the mortician in Navajo County he interviewed last year sent Hannah a message of support to say they are not alone.Save £12k in 2025 #2 I am at £4863.32 out of £6000 after May (81.05%)
