No, CA has nothing to do with household finances (although IS does). The person claiming CA has to earn no more than £110 pw, their spouse could be a millionaire and CA wouldn't be affected.0 -

Please make an arrangement to see someone at your local CAB office that will be able to provide you with all the information you need.0 -
If there is a charity related to the condition your son has, it would be worth asking for advice from them too. It can be very supportive to hear how other parents have dealt with all the issues.0
