Foxgloves, he is slim but very tall and he drives a white van so I figure he is working and stops there on the way home. Maybe he does have lots of kids but he's still incredibly rude, especially when nobody knows anybody else's situation. On the top of the basket last night were several packs of mangoes and then he threw two packs of ham in on top, I didn't see what else was in there. I think the way he throws it all in annoys me as well, like it's worthless, the mangoes will have been bruised which further leads me to think he just juices the fruit. Maybe he has a cafe, who knows?
I popped in tonight to pick up some salami to go with dinner and to check out whether it was worth going back at reduction time but there wasn't much there so I will wait for a better day!
I am now (or was, as I've just eaten it) the proud owner of a lesser spotted courgetteI've been telling everyone at work about my courgette hunt and my boss was walking through the market with a guy from another department and told him about the shortage. So amused was he at the topic of conversation (when they usually just talk about footie) that when he spotted one that night in the co0p he bought it for him
I did ask how much he'd accept for this priceless commodity but he gave it to me for free
I managed to womble 32 club card points tonight, I'll add them on tomorrow when I do my weekly shop.
For some time now I've been looking at kitchen !!!!!! on Pinterest and there's a definite theme to the ones I love. I know a fair bit about kitchens and kitchen design and designed my last two from scratch but the kitchen here is fine but I'd like to paint it and change the work tops. Want I'd really like is dark grey/blue painted cabinets with wooden work tops. What I currently have is wooden cabinets with black work tops. Anyhow, I walked past a bar last night that was being refitted and the walls were dark grey/blue and the tables wooden which got me thinking that I could just paint the walls that colour then I will have the overall feel I want (though in reverse) and it will be cheaper and easier. I'd like to paint the inside of the glass fronted cupboards too.

I went to buy the wheely one...but it was out of stock in all four shops that claim to sell it.
So I just bought the regular one in the end.

Hi January Jubilants,
Managed to fit in a few more things:
Debt Free-Nillionaire Continuity Plan Year Two:
* Went into Aldi and bought some fruit and veg from their 35p section. I really need to each less cr*p.
* Didn't get the cooker repaired yet so made dinner in the halogen U.F.O. although my mind urging me to order a takeaway.
* Went freezer diving as it is "only" half full which is the point at which DW usually starts proclaiming "we have nothing much in there" and going on a spending spree...An audit revealed we have plenty of everything except chicken. Tomorrow I will make grilled chicken with four-types-of-random-chips-potatoes-fries to use up all the nearly used bags of potato-i-ness. :A Also found some fish for tomorrow's luncheon and some left over Decemberfest party foods for snacking on tonight. There's also a bucket load of meat and one or two luxury items...and four types of bread...but not 22 naan bread like last time I went diving, so that's an improvement.
* Cut open facial scrub tube to get the last out of it.

So guys you are a survey loving bunch aren't you? Which sites do you do and which ones are worth the time with regards to pay out?
I can't remember who said they were doing the supermarket ones but I did the Boots one once and won...£50 on kids clothes when DD was small. But the woman who ran the department was so excited that someone from her store had won that she put aside all the clothes I wanted until the big reductions in the sale, two weeks later I ended up with £300 worth of clothes which I paid £15 for. Best win of my life!Happiness is wanting what you have...0 -

That's EXACTLY my job for the day and the very kitchen we've been talking about!I'm still not 100% sure it won't look too dark in my small kitchen though... I designed my flat's kitchen from scratch and it was perfect - loved it! Then I moved into a house with a lovely kitchen (albeit not my design
) but it just wasn't the same. Now I have a new kitchen to design! I was very excited but I just can't get this one to work so I need to have more of a play. The issue is that it's just a tiny bit too small (just a couple of bl00dy centimetres!) but I really don't want to have to move a wall... I've been stalking all of the nearby identical-layout houses that go up for sale just to see what they do.
I love your idea of painting for the same overall theme! :T I saw that you can mod podge/decoupage glass with coloured something or other rather than having to paint the glass... Quite fancied trying that.0
