Rosemary7391 what are you making? I've literally just finished setting up my Janome for a second polo neck jumper in some teal coloured ponte - I love the first one so much!

Today was a bit of a write off for me. Do you remember I said I was starting a new drug last night? Wow, I slept like a baby! Only problem is I couldn't really wake up in the morning or, in fact, most of the day! I was up and about trying to do stuff but it's like only half of my brain is engaged. Just as well I was so drugged up as laptop gave up the ghost this morning so ended up having to use the other computer. Did manage to do a bit of work but this afternoon decided no, too much so have sent a note around to my bosses saying I'm taking a few days off. Hoping I'll get used to this new drug quite quickly but honestly can't concentrate on anything and so sleepy.

Speaking of which ...... time for bed! See you tomorrow.

Oh, and so I'm not in trouble, I did fly - vacuumed most of downstairs and hung up some washing.

The casual dress is this one:
    https://sewdirect.com/acatalog/Kwik-Sew-K4173.html
In a lovely soft dark grey and dark purple fabric :) I'm a good way along with it, just the side seams and hemming to go!

    This is the formal one:

Not sure between view B or C, but I'm using this fabric:
    https://www.tissufabrics.co.uk/lycra-dancewear/shiny-lycra/burgandy-shiny-lycra-stretch-fabric-q54-bgd.html

    Teal jumper sounds lovely!

Glad you slept well, and I hope you do get used to it quickly!

Valli, what are you feeling rebellious about..?

    Evening folks

Sorry to hear that Kaz - maybe something better is round the corner
Hope you manage to settle down with the new drug Mumof2 - can you maybe take 1/2 the amount and see how that works ??
    ..............
Completed some Spanish lessons - Duolingo great for free language learning...........
I use that as well on an app and another app for Memrise. I find they're both good for vocab learning/practising. I am doing a free on-line course with Future Learn and I'm on the fifth part of a six part (four weeks each part) course. You might like to have a look and see when/if they are starting the next set.

I know what you mean. Some is down to the time of year and some probably due to all the pressure you were under. Maybe you could start something new or plan something different. A little break away, a new course, a new hobby, re-plan a flower bed or even plant some seeds such as sweet-peas ?

    Did dailies
Sorted a couple of frogs trying to mutate into toads
Finally phoned the council with a couple of minor problems
Phoned the talky people about my broadband, as it keeps dropping.
    All hoovered except sitting room

Marvellous Monday Kitchen Klean Up (and dining room)
Wipe sticky switches and sockets with a just-damp cloth

    Terrific Tuesday bedroom time
Strip the bed and open the window...
    Remake the bed

    Wednesday wonders lounge
    Clear the rubbish out
    Vacuum/wipe sofas
Swap seat cushions over/swap sofas to even wear
    Clean under seat pads
    Fluff up scatter cushions
    Dust everywhere including skirting boards
Wipe sockets and switches and door handles
And all those places sticky fingers touch
    Clean the floor
Take rugs outside, hang over line and beat vigorously
Rake out fire and relay with dry kindling and coal
    Fill the scuttle
    See what I did there?
    Wipe the windows
    Extras
    S&S kitchen and bathroom
    15 minutes on pile demolition
    And you're over the hump...

Hugs, gws vibes, sticks and spoons if you need some
Hope you all have a wonderful Wednesday

    Shift the floordrobe/chairdrobe
    [/STRIKE]
    Level 2
    Clean the windows
[STRIKE]Vacuum the floor[/STRIKE] Found the beater brush... the amount of hair coming off the carpet is phenomenal... must use this more often.

    Level 3
Dust everywhere - including the bedframe
vacuum/dust light fittings and any soft furnishings

    Extras
[STRIKE]S&S the kitchen and bathroom[/STRIKE] [STRIKE]Steamed the kitchen floor AGAIN! And it's still coming up dirty, although it looks clean now.[/STRIKE]

Not a huge amount done, but things are mostly staying tidy, and looking much better. I want to try steaming the bedroom and landing rugs tomorrow...
