Morning all. Welcome to newbies and welcome back to oldies :D Have been sat here having a good old laugh while reading. You lot have certainly started early this week!

Kids are on a two week school break, so I'm not working mornings for the next two weeks. This means I might actually be able to keep up for a change!

Got three rooms spring cleaned over the weekend - the laundry, DS3 bedroom and DS2 bedroom.

Manic Monday - Kitchen and Dining Room
    Level One
    Clean floors
    Level Two
    Clear and wipe kitchen surfaces
Sort fridge bringing what needs using soon to the front, clean out any spills or grots in there!
Wipe dining table.. (clean table cloth if necessary)
    Level Three
Dust any extra furniture in dining area, checking for cobwebs on way round
Wipe and replace all those small appliances.. kettle, toaster etc
Clean cupboard door fronts and fronts of appliances .. don't forget those kick boards..
    Extra Mission

    Choose one or more of:

    • Wipe window sills and clean windows in these rooms
    • Clear and wipe the tops of the wall units!!
    • Clean oven if you didn't do it last week
    • 30 minutes ironing.
    Deep Clean Challenge
Get in that cupboard under the sink and fling everything you don't use.. if it hasn't been used in the last 6 months you don't need it.. fling it!! Give it a GOOD scrub out before replacing the things you do use and need to keep. Feel free to get carried away and do more cupboards!!!

    My to do list:
Pay some bills - not all, just some
Get washing on the line and hope it doesn't rain
    Walk Arsha
    Work this afternoon
    Weekly menu
    grocery list
    Buy groceries

Can we have a poll.. do we want 'weekend tasks' as well?? Optional workload but catching up time for some, esp those who work! LMK and I can sort it - Don't think I'll join in with this one, unless it's a christmas one - have just started thinking about that!

i'll join you all as well, my house is a tip and hasn't had a really good clean since the baby was born and she's 1 next month!!!
might have to start on tuesday though as my mum is taking our family dog to the vet tomorrow, he's 17 and very old and tired, he's blind and has just started to be incontinent. so we are doing the kindest thing and putting him to sleep.
it will be a sad day so we're off to lakeland in the afternoon for some retail therapy if she feels upto it, if not it will be tea and hugs all day.

hubby's superglued specs seem to be holding so with a bit of luck (not that we ever have much) they will get him through tomorrow until his new ones are ready.. let's hope vision express are useful!!
