chasingbutterflies - i'm moving soonish too and that's a great idea re numbering boxes! i'll def do it!

lil_me - i am sure you're doing the right thing moving, esp with your DP working nights.

well am a bit disappointed as i haven't heard that i've got an interview for the job i wanted, :( should've heard this aft. bummer. at least that saves a two-day trip to london this week.

have just about broken even on my finances this month which is good with it being a 5 week month etc. really need to do another job app but gonna phone friend first! and am working tonight which i still need to plan a session for. i have absolutely zero motivation to do my job at the moment -just too much else to think about. a few more things to cross off:

Tuesday Living Room, Hall and Stairs

    Level 1
    Vacuum floors and sofas
    Level 2
    Dusting, even if around everything
Remove clutter making sure stairs especially are safe
Clean TV, other electricals and cabinets
    Level 3
Wipe light switches, sockets (make sure they are not switched on!!) and banister
Clean any other glass like mirrors, pictures etc
Tidy shoes, coats and bags .. wash any that need washing in preparation for cold weather!! See if there are any that don't fit, past their best or just plain uncomfy which could leave the house! - 2 in abag for charity shop, as i'm not likely to be a size 10 again this winter!!!
Sort through your handbag and fling all those ancient bus tickets and receipts.. if you are anything like me you need to do your purse too!!! - did this at the weekend
    Extra Mission:
Pick one or more of the following tasks –
    • Paperwork clearance.. spend 15 minutes minimum sorting through those piles of paper.
    • Vacuum under furniture you can manage to move without hurting yourself
    • Clean a window or two.
    • Get yourself a bag or box, go around collecting things that are not in the place they should be, then put them back where they should be, or better still give them to their owners to put away themselves
    clean washing away
post office - post 3 letters, pay chq in, pay cash in
return lib book - started raining so i didn't detour to lib!
    at least 1 job app
online banking - m&s bill, transfer into savings,
    end of month finances

2 things from wedding to do list - done 1!!
phone x3 aunty re dad's bday, sister, friend in switz
    book london train
    pick up repeat prescription
    get 2 prescriptions
    empty gym bag
    make yoghurt

When we moved we had a box marked.. can't live without.. with coffe/teabags/kettle etc.. (we sneaked £40 in there for a takeaway tea as well!!).. and as soon as we got to new house we made a cuppa.. then put up the beds and made them (yes 9 beds!!!).. THEN we did the other stuff until bed time.. so if nothing else you can go to bed and wake up refreshed and ready to unpack some more the next day!!!!!

Rigth off to feed this bunch.. Tiddles doesn't like me  she pushed me away because I took a bucket of water off her.. they had been 'painting' outside and she wanted to bring it in and do it inside..

  • i swear i might commit murder.

DS has just had another bad turn. After an hour i decide to make him his tea thinking i will just stick to our routine. As soon as he grabbed a piece of cheese on toast the tears and tantrum stopped.

I can't for the life of me work out if he is ill or just trying to send me loopy. If this is the start of tantrums, remind me again why i am pregnant again???

Anyway, lots of deep breaths while i drink my tea and he eats up, and add reclean the dining room floor to the list asit isn't looking that good with dairylea on it. I may just let the cats in to clean up the worst of it 1st.

border very sorry to hear about your cat.

shell beautiful piccie of your dog

off now for bath time i think and hope we don't get a 3rd floater in 3 days as my patience only stretches so far as the kids i teach broke me years ago. ;)

See you all after bed time if i still have any sanity,
    Michelle, x

:rotfl: boys are both hopefully getting new beds so will be up before we move in, just ours after that to put in, cheating I know but DS2s bed in particular needs replacing, he's got a dream bed he wants with a desk, drawers etc under it. Might be an idea for me to bag up some of the spare bed linen now to put in their rooms ready for the new beds. Kitchen things etc I plan taking over bit by bit and unpacking as we go, bring back the boxes each time. Might have to do less of the 'living out of boxes' that way.

Actually, I think I will write and calculate a shopping list tonight, see what we want new and which we can afford now. New things :D:D:D
One day I might be more organised...........

i'm fed up of trudging through job applications. i need to apply for some where you just submit CV. the one i am doing at the moment is a standard form so includes stupid questions about typing speed....

and i STILL have no inspiration for tonight's youth group.

We all need to win the lottery and then jet off to some shopping/spa hot spot for a week. We so deserve it.

There will be hot men giving us massages, facials ( not the ones pigpen is thinking off) and lots of shopping, in trainers, so our feet don't hurt. And some more hot men to carry our bags, and rub our feet cos even in trainers the amount of shopping we are going to do, is going to hurt.

Then lunch with wine and bubbly (not bubble bath) and flamin huge chocolate cakes and then we can get liposuction so we don't feel guilty. Oh, hell, who cares if we are fat, we are RICH!

And if the zombies do attack, we will be rich and they will fly us and our families (if we want them...) to safety and all will be well.

and the kids will be with nannies at Disney land, and then we will meet up for Christmas in lap land.
