I've found a pair of curtains I'd forgotten about, MIL gave them to me last year and obviously I'd put them away, saved me at least £20 on buying some for my new bedroom, AND I've found my pair of Doc Martin shoes I've had for about 7 years (used about twice) and thought I'd chucked, no need to buy good shoes now so another £40 saved Yes!..... I'm cheering up now.

and I've just had a Lakeland catalogue delivered so I'm gonna have a mooch through that, just window shopping though

    pigpen niiiiiiiice

I assume MIL is giving you the car and you will become the new Registered Keeper?
Well... I'm the Registered Keeper of my old car that I have given my daughter at Uni, two years ago. For various reasons I kept the car in my name and home address as daughter was in rented temporary accommodation.
The Insurance company were happy with that.
I suggest you phone your insurance company and tell them that MIL is the Registered Keeper. All of her details will be on line with DVLA anyway, so she may not need to get the logbook anyway. Presume it is taxed?
If the insurance company are happy that MIL "owns" the car, but you are insured, then you are covered. Then get MIL to phone the insurance company to verify this.
    No harm in asking

It's a long story M.E FIL bought it off someone he knows, then he gave it to his daughter, who got a new car so gave it back to him who's now giving it to me lol so I've no idea who it's registered to I'm presuming the daughter, but it will need taxing as it's run out, will ask her though, thanks :)

Nicki I have trouble with one game of scrabble, whenever me and DH play we both end up with rubbish letters and struggle to make 5 letter words let alone anything longer!

You see thats the advantage of playing online - I have an anagram website bookmarked to help me :rotfl: The person who I usual plays has an amazing vocabulary so I'm hoping that by playing other people one day before I die I might actually beat him :rotfl::rotfl: Even when he's drunk he can beat me, then again I used to be drunk when we used to play it as well so I'm not surprised :rotfl::rotfl: I can manage 6 letter words occasionaly, but usually it's 4/5 ones, I'm just starting to get crafty with the placing of them though ;)

Should really go and find some veg to put in the slowcooker to go with tea, and then give DD a pen and her worry book if she ever comes down from getting changed

poohbear59 welcome home :) pigpen is running things for now for me, watch her she can be a right bossy boots! What a star your DD is :) need to pass on some training tips. Saying that when I showed DS2 the pics of the new house he said he wanted to clean the kitchen cupboards (he loves that job!) he also now can use the washing machine, I will need to teach him how to use the one in the other house, maybe the dishwasher too.
One day I might be more organised...........

Just started another 2 games of scrabble :D I must be mad!!! :rotfl::rotfl:
