I heard a call into a radio show as I was channel hoping and the man said that up to 30% of daddies may NOT be the biological daddy but they assumed they were
Do you have a 'respected media source' for this alleged 'fact'?

I am a caring and passionate person and love to help people. Many times I have seriously considered becoming a samaritan but work and family commitments inc running a home/business do not allow this.

Any doubts I had about your intentions on this board have now gone - you're trolling.

My ex told me that her manager's girlfriend went on a family holiday, then became pregnant, she had to tell him she had sex with someone else and wasn't sure who the father was him or the other bloke.

    Never knew the results after.

I do think there are a lot of men out there raising children who aren't theirs, although I'd seriously doubt it's as high as 30%. Would open a whole can of worms if it came back to confirm you weren't the father.

No need for me to do a DNA test as I know 100% that my daughter does not share my genes, even though I gave birth to her, as her maternal genes come from the amazing woman who donated her eggs to me. Though we do not share the same DNA she is 100% my daughter - being a parent is far more than sharing genetic material with your child.

    Aw. That's so sweet. :T
That's raised this thread way up above the original post.

    Hi

    Thanks for sharing.

The girlfriend has to be awarded credit for coming clean after intercourse with another man behind her partners back. At that early stage of conception, if I was her other half, I could not care less if it was my child or the other blokes, I just kick her out and move on, good riddance is what I'd say.

I honestly and very passionately despise cheating, and that indeed is a fact.

    Dear Gavin83

Thanks for sharing your opinions with us.

Indeed, you, like others here are entitled to your opinions.

Your "doubts" appear to stack up with the fundamentals. however, and let us never forget, that facts can be stranger than fiction and that is a proven fact.

It goes without saying that the vast majority that cheats on their OH will NOT own up to the fact that they have laid another or been laid.

Cheating/deception, if that was not bad enough, your OH becoming pregnant by someone you hate is a very awful.

IMO, if one has doubts, best to find out sooner than later and then move on if your OH has done the dirty on you.
