Free Unlock codes for Nokia Phones 7 (U.K. Networks Only)

Hi
I want to unlock a nokia 6500 which is currently on irish network 3G - looking at some of the sites suggested earlier it doesn't seem to give me the option to choose that network.
Does anyone know of how I can do this please?

Sorry to mither but I've been trawling through lots of sites and can't see any up to date info that the nokia 2760 can now be unlocked. Am I right ?

Serves me right for being a tightwad and buying a cheap phone and thinking I could DIY with a little help from MSE eh?!?!

If it can't be done has anyone dealt with 'Phonegoods'. You have to post the phone off to them and iI'm a bit wary of doing this.

You can either buy the unlock code off the network it is locked to or take it to an unlocking shop for a cable and hardware unlock.

the nokia 6500 can only be unlocked by the networks for a fee, no free codes for these (and you have used up your 3 code tries so shop is the only method now) as stated in the very first 2 posts of the "unlock Nokia" thread at the top of this section

find a shop/market stall to do it

It still cant be unlocked by free codes but it can be unlocked using cables and hardware which your local unlocking shop will have, or if its locked to Vodafone you can buy a cheap unlock code.
