This thread seems great, I wonder if you can help. I bought a Nokia N95 on an auction site which was supposed to be unlocked, but turned out to be on Orange. (BTW I have no idea what all these phone related TLAs mean )

Any chance of getting an unlock code for IMEI 356996012156120 please ?

when the phone boots it says 'enter restriction code'

it wont let me put in *#06# to get the IMEI code...

help please >>>>>!!!

i think it was on T-mobile originally, though cant be 100% sure.
My SIM is Vodaphone

You will have to be sure what network it's locked to, so we can generate a code. Try different networks in the phone.

Yes the N95 is a BB5 model so it has to be done by hardware or network code.
