Thanks for the help on the 6130.
Can anyone help unlock a Nokia 6288
    locked to 3
    IMEA 3545 5801 4300 460
    Thanks if at all possible.

Only 3 can unlock this phone or anybody who has access to the 3 database but I would go to 3 directly as it will be cheaper.

Thanks. 3 have said that in order to unlock it they require the entire buy out amount of the remainder of the contract!
    Oh well! Thanks anyway!

If you contact james-73 he can get the codes for the 3 network it will be cheaper than paying out the full contract, not sure of the price but I believe its around £30

Turn the phone on without a sim card in it and enter this code without spaces

    #pw+288 955 100 610 367+7#

To get the + sign you press the * key twice
To get the p sign you press the * key 3 times
To get the w sign you press the * key 4 times
When you enter the final digit of the code it should say phone restriction off and the phone
will be unlocked to all networks.

If that code does not work then use this one

    #pw+288 705 100 610 367+7#

    only try the codes once
  • OK, on bended knee.

    Nokia 1600 on T-Mobile
    IMEI: 353650/01/085618/0

If you can help, I am so very very grateful!

  • Thanks very much...:D

...but neither code produced a message (I followed directions and double checked).I thought I'd check anyway so I tried a Virgin sim,it worked, then a Vodafone sim and an 02 sim, they didn't.I don't think I should push my luck by trying any more numbers,as I need the 'phone to remain useable.

    Again,big thanks for trying.

A message should come up when you enter the final digit, a virgin sim may work in the phone because they use the same masts. Type the code in quite quickly, if you can get somebody to read it out and keep looking at the phone, dont worry the phone will always be useable. The message will either say code error, cant undo restriction or phone restriction off. Have another go and get back to me.
  • Pardon me - thought you may have been more helpful on here, being my first ever post. I only followed the link form the search I put in for 'unlocking samsung phone' on the site.

Max the best way to unlock this phone is by an unlocking clip, they can be bought off ebay for a few pounds

    http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/unlocking-clip-for-samsung-D500-D600-E350-E730_W0QQitemZ120145155583QQihZ002QQcategoryZ42413QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

simply plug the clip into the phone and it unlocks in 5 seconds, after you have used it re-sell the clip on ebay and get the money back you paid for it. Resulting in a free unlock.
