It went a while back. You have to keep a close eye on all the relevant places if you want to find the best deal at any time. Advertising them on here merely makes them disappear faster!

Yep thanks I look regularly - it must have gone before they mentioned that tariff as I posted my question only 1 day after the OP. Nothing much about at the mo.

It was on there for a fair while before that. I am currently ordering one deal for at least two people; it's not too bad although I still hold out for totally free deals. Remind me in another 3 days and I'll pm it to you.

The £30 11 months free is gone. Best for a 12m contract is 8 months free plus quidco.

Remember what I said was it was a 100 min deal, but they changed it to the 700 minute deal with fewer texts.

Hi all, especially mobilejunkie, - I think this thread is brilliant.

I'm thinking of getting the Tocco Lite, and the three main retailers that do this that work out at a very good deal are affordablemobiles.co.uk, mobiles.co.uk and buymobilephones.net

I've seen so much bad stuff about affordablemobiles.co.uk that I'm going to go with the other two, which would you recommend today out of those two?

Just replied on your thread about the first. You have identified the best deal from the three sources.

1) Avoid Affordable Mobiles completely (AND it's sister site, Beepy).

2) Mobiles.co.uk is not user-friendly and playing up at present. As a cpw company it's likely to stay around long enough to sue. Follow the groundrules and you can do that should they "request" it! Otherwise avoid.

3) The latter seems largely efficient and with a better track record than cpw companies. HOWEVER, of late there have been some worrying concerns. The main worry is that they are much smaller than cpw and so always higher risk.

Of course, the Tocco Lite is also on better T-Mobile deals with two of these dealers whereas the Orange deal on Mobiles is a 24 month contract. I have contracts with all three dealers but ensure I can sue from the point of sale onwards. I also accept the risks associated with the two smaller dealers, since I can a) play the game rather well at their expense and b) understand the danger of them not being around to sue, having done extremely well over the last three years with cashback contracts.

try this site, ive just used them and didn't have any issues
