It says £399 open box in the link and it is stated it has manufacturer's warranty. They are selling the same thing both on their website and on eBay.

Perhaps you have only just woken up. I already wrote that it is the same thing, but cheaper and priced in Pounds, as opposed to your link in Euros, via their eBay website.....and it has six months of the manufacturers warranty remaining.

    Open box...likely ex-demo.

No, I work nights so was going to bed actually.
The link is in pounds. I don't know why you say it's in euros. It's the same company so they have priced the thing the same obviously on eBay and their website.
The website is a UK one, why would it display prices in euros.
This is what I see and the price is clearly in pounds, unless £ is now the symbol for euros:

    "This is brand new product.
The box may have slight traces of transport, small damages (e.g. missing handle) or it's been replaced for spare one if necessary."

They are selling a proper brand new one for around £600. Maybe you were referring to that one but still the prices displayed are all in pounds.

Refurbished laptops (which are used) often come with only a 90 days warranty and that's not from the manufacturer.

I stated ex-demo...not refurbished. Why else would you imagine the thing would be in and out of it's box and now have only six months of it's manufacturer warranty left?
If you imagine that it has never been used, you need your head testing.

As to what is on their website, I'm not in the UK, so they have priced it in Euros.

Ah that's why. Well viewing it from the UK the price is displayed in pounds.

Yes I know what you have stated and my head's fine. You're very aggressive in your way of talking. Notice I could have easily done the same with the price matter since with that you have made a blunder, but I didn't.

I was comparing the manufacturer's warranty left on this to the refurbished laptop like that one you had linked, which had no manufacturer's warranty left and only 90 days from the people who refurbished it.

OP doesn't seem one for refurbished/open box laptops so mine wasn't even the right suggestion, but ex demo that looks cosmetically like new could only have maybe a very used battery as a drawback.

A refurbished laptop by some vendor has been handled who knows how and who knows what parts they use to refurbish and what the standards are. I have owned an ex demo laptop and there was nothing wrong with it

Perhaps my manner of writing to you has something to do with the way that you began with your very first post.

Secondly, I made no blunder, because what I stated was correct and I posted the link to show what I can see...including the fact that the warranty runs until the 24th of July 2017.

Thirdly you are the one who has made a blunder because the laptop to which I linked clearly shows a 1 year warranty. The 90 days came from your imagination.

But I'm not going to make a big deal out of it....
