Yes and probably pass my door en route to the city or processing factory.................

A lot of the Uk thinks seafood stops at a tin of tuna or some pink salmon though. We need educating as a country too

I love seafood and fish in general too. It always seems so expensive though and I only tend to eat it when out to eat.

Feeling sorry for myself...:o I really just want to go to bed and sleep but afraid I won't, especially as it's Saturday night and it always tends to be noisy and I'll get woken up :(

    Sorry to moan :o

And there is more to sea fish than cod or haddock........(though I'm partial to both). My favourite for stew type dishes is Hake but it's hard to get:(

Arent we stupid? I was watching one of the chefs talk about this last week apparently we export nearly all of our langoustines :( I adore langostines but only really have them when I am abroad. Ironically they are probably scottish.

    So do I..my absolute favourite.

Why do they export it all? :( Do they command a higher price when exported?

Apparently they just cant sell it to us oiks :(

Doesn't surprise me I think the love of fish beyond battered chippy fish is pretty rare in the UK.

    I'm doing it wrong ... I know I'm doing it wrong ... and I know it's sinful ...

I've just added 1 portion of sultanas to my daily tally: GOOD.

I achieved this by cooking them inside a cake weighing 250-300g + : BAD.

It was a tasty cake though .... :)
