  • Working in central London and no snow here at all. Did flurry a bit but now all melted.

Last night, by the time i got home to NW London - rain/sleet/snow all stopped and only the car had a light dusting.

Hopefully will be OK for the rest of the day.

For all those who have the snow and also those who live on the coast - please be careful.

Bloomin nippy out there for sure

Snow stopped last night and we have had hail stones since. The wind has really picked up again, really stormy

Was a bit hairy driving into work this morning as our road was solid ice in places and the village I'm working in doesn't get treated so wasn't too nice in the wee lanes
  • ha ha I was prepared to take a snow day :)

  • Beautiful day here in Hampshire blue sky and winter sunshine but a brusque little wind blowing that is making it feel quite cold. Woke up this morning to dry roads and pavements so no problems with ice on the roads and pavements either.

Yes the snow is hopefully disappearing here in Kent thank goodness, pretty as it looks its not nice, but the wind has picked up and is quite biting,so scarves out and I have a thick insulated hat ,which although I loathe wearing a hat I will wear to keep me warm.See no point in getting cold and at my age I can get away with wearing whatever I feel like :):):)

Keep snug chums almost halfway through January thank goodness, hopefully spring will be on its way soon

  • So just got home in NW London, and no snow. The little bit that settled on the car - all gone.

Hope those affected are all ok, snug & warm.

Looking forward to seeing snowdrops and daffs poke their heads out of the ground.
