My statement has just been updated to this:
I am absolutely livid. I have written to Littlewoods head office with no response. The monkeys on the phones are rude and arrogant. I am going to fire off an e-mail to Trading Standards and watchdog. LW are the worst company I have ever dealt with!"He's a maniac, maniac that's for sure,
He will kill your cat and nail him to the door"

Or, we could order loads of stuff and just keep sending it back, the postage would cost them heaps.
Then they sell the returned stuff off at reduced price I believe.0 -

Read point 2.3 on their t & C ....
2.3 Where you have redeemed a promotional code or any other offer ("a Code") against your order, acceptance of this order is subject to our verifying that the Code has been issued to you personally, that you comply with all the terms of the offer and qualify for the Code. In the event that the Code has not been issued to you for your personal use or you do not qualify for the offer, the price of the order will be adjusted notwithstanding any email or other confirmation that you receive.
The relevant part is "acceptance of this order is subject....." Sending out of the goods and debiting your account equates to acceptance of your order, and therefore they should have already verified your code by that point. Once you have received the goods and they have taken the money from your account, the contract is fulfilled, and the terms cannot then be changed. As others have said, it is extremely unreasonable to expect you to retain information relating to a transaction that has been concluded for any length of time, and they would never be able to make this stick in court. Refuse to pay.0 -

Can I suggest sending them 250 x 10p ones, that way will cost them more to bank than they get!! (Ok takes a wee bit longer........) Oh and if you accidentally forget to put a stamp on they will have to cover the postage plus a £1 fine (better than using prepaid envelopes), especially good if you can make it a big envelope...... :rotfl:0 -
I read in the press today that Littlewoods are to shed hundreds of jobs -
"Littlewoods has warned staff of a further 100 job losses, only weeks after it said 200 positions were under threat...."
Don't like the thought of anyone losing their job - but LW's customer services could do with "a shake in a bag"
Can pay - won't pay !!0 -
