I just snorted out loud at that!

Your vets will undoubtedly know where there are puppy socialisation groups locally - those often feed on into training classes and that way you've also had some insight into the methods used. It's a good way of getting a sneak preview!

Hi Naomin - just popping by to say hello .... I read on Cranky's diary the description of where you grew up .... I'm guessing The Alton?  I was just up the road on The Ashburton.  Small world!!!

Vets sometimes run a short puppy socialisation course but if you want help with training I would reccomend a trainer. F***b**k might be your friend for recommendations. We have a dedicated dog group here so might be worth investigations.

Yes! On the Alton in the point blocks. I had a few friends on the Ashburton. Loved growing up there.

Yesterday I transferred the Tesco cc debt over to MBNA for a further 20months of 0%. It had a 4.5% fee though 😖 But, I am now in the £24k bracket. I will need to play with the payments as I'll move the Tesco dd to the next one that's ending. I know its March but can't remember which card it is. 🤦‍♀️ It's all on my spreadsheet.

One of my friends has asked me to help with her cc debt. I knew she was paying interest and for a couple of years I've been telling her to check her eligibility for 0% deals but she wouldn't.  She watched the ML Money Show with the lovely lady that got out of debt and it obviously clicked.

I should be working now so I better get dressed!

    Have a happy Tuesday

  • Ouch indeed to that fee, but still better than getting clobbered with interest every month!

I know! The fee is a !!!!!! but that's how they make their money from me. I'm not eligible for any of the long term new ones unfortunately. They will come as the debts reduce, I'm sure.

I've just ordered puppy dog a long line training lead and some seatbelt harnesses for the car. At the moment we have to sit in the back as she wants to drive 🤣

She lost another tooth yesterday and one more today. She'll have none left at this rate! 🤣

  • My dog has a julius harness and we just have a clip that attaches to the seatbelt. You just reel the seatbelt out and clip it to the harness. (The seatbelt bit is clipped in). Its good as she can adjust herself as it reels out, but locks with quick movements or braking. I also have a quilted hammock style back cover which is invaluable! It stops her scratching the leather and catches all the mud and sand so it doesn’t fall down the creases or into the footwell. Mine always wants to drive, she always goes to my door instead of the back door and I tell her every time that she hasn’t passed her test yet 😁

  • Ours has the car seat I mentioned previously as only small. She sees it as an extra bed. We also use a seat cover as we slide her pushchair under her car seat across the back seats. Pushchair also is a bed. So is new bag we have brought as alternative to pushchair for rugged terraine. It's really a man's tote bag with a cushion in it. but don't get telling her its not a deluxe dog method of travel please 🤭
