  • If paterdale x lab just triple the food budget then add some more on top.
Quadruple the toy budget and hide everything slightly chewable quick.
Our pattendale cross is rather smaller than a lab one would be but my god she can put aways the food. Has legs like springs so jumps really high and the amount of mobiles shoes handbags etc she got through as a pup was expensive to say the least. She destroys most toys but since getting old her teeth are starting to fail her so has a few more softies left

My friend has sent off the dna test. I've been looking at images of patterdale x and GS x. I'm still leaning towards GS. Whatever she is she'll be loved and safe ❤.

I'm looking at some enrichment toys for her. Something to get her brain working.

  • she IS loved and safe NM.  Can't wait to find out her dna bless her.

Cant you try the old tricks like show her a treat then hide under a blanket/box toy and see if she can find it.  Cover her with a towel and see if she finds her way out etc etc.  Our old pug failed miserably lol he used to look like oh my treat has vanished forever and ever.  M_F dog however doesn't need brain training quite the opposite🙄

Puppy school is also very good regardless of if you already have had dogs.

Making them use their brains tires them out quicker than exercise

And me @lucielle and @moving_forward. I've had a hard day today and in the office tomorrow.

I'm going to look at puppy schools. There's a trainer near here who is ex police dog handler but there's some mixed reviews on his methods. I think I'll ask the vets if they have anyone they recommend.

  • That's a good idea or if you come across any well behaved pups ask the owners.
Hope the office goes quickly and smoothly

You're all doing so well and the end of January is in sight!

It would be lovely if we could all post totals on Sunday/Monday and see collectively how much we've done.

    👍👍👍
