A Ditherer's Diary (again)

I've tested positive for Corona 😷. I'm a bit shocked as MrM had been feeling proper poorly and I'd only had a bit of a sniffle. His test has come back negative and mine positive. I'm feeling ok just a bit tired. Had a nice little nap this afternoon.
I updated my ynab with yesterdays transactions and tillied £1.35 to my rounding pot. Ynab is over spent in some categories but it's a work in progress and my aim for the end of the year is to be fully green and funded.
Hope everyone is safe and well, it's odd when you aren't allowed out you desperately want to. 🙄Credit Cards NOV 2019 £33,220.42 Sept 2023 £19,951.00 Tilly Tidy 20223/COLOR] Sept £43.71 Here's my diary: A Ditherer's Diary Again3 -
How odd that MrM tested negative! Maybe he’s over the worst? Hopefully you won’t feel any worse. Not all who wander are lost - J.R.R.Tolkien

@Scottiedog_3 thank you. To be honest I feel absolutely fine. I had a runny nose and sneezes about a week ago but that was it. Luckily I'm wfh anyway so it won't make any difference to travel.
I'm just missing being able to go out but should look at it as a money saving exercise. No coffee out which I often do on a Saturday, I need petrol too so this puts it off for another week.Credit Cards NOV 2019 £33,220.42 Sept 2023 £19,951.00 Tilly Tidy 20223/COLOR] Sept £43.71 Here's my diary: A Ditherer's Diary Again4 -
Hopefully you will stay pretty minor symptoms.. my DS1 tested positive about 6 months ago and I was very ill but negative it’s bizarre…the test and trace did encourage me to get re tested but we were all self isolating at that point anyway.

Well yesterday wasn't an NSD even though I'm home. I spent £3.50 on a page from the 1921 census. I was very into genealogy pre kids but it is an expensive hobby. The census has just been released and I got drawn in by the hype 🤦♀️
I have also blown the no takeaways in January. Was just 16yo and I home and I couldn't be bothered so ordered a kebab for us.
Obviously I still need to work on my brain and budgeting. I cracked it with the credit cards and savings/sinking funds, but the bank account and overdraft definitely need some reprogramming.Credit Cards NOV 2019 £33,220.42 Sept 2023 £19,951.00 Tilly Tidy 20223/COLOR] Sept £43.71 Here's my diary: A Ditherer's Diary Again3 -
Glad your not feeling too bad and have to admit glad I'm not the only one on the naughty step buying no takeout for Jan. Unfortunately I can't blame covid 🤣🤣I have managed without using over draft for a few months now. The main thing that did it for me was the huge hike in interest rates. Unfortunately I do keep having to shuffle back out the sinking funds but that makes me feel guilty so I need to crack it.Dedicated Debt Free Wanabee 🤓

It's the last barrier for me. I think I've been in the overdraft for so long I struggle to see it as debt. My pre advice of charges this month is 32p which almost gives me validation in my head it's ok. I know I have to change my mindset and hoping ynab is going to help with this. Being a bit more aware of where I'm overspending.Credit Cards NOV 2019 £33,220.42 Sept 2023 £19,951.00 Tilly Tidy 20223/COLOR] Sept £43.71 Here's my diary: A Ditherer's Diary Again4
