You can go to the bbc website. Google bbc sounds podcasts. Then have a search through. I also highly recommend The Battersea Poltergeist and Uncanny on bbc sounds. I also have a free app called "pocketcasts" and you can subscribe to podcasts including bbc ones so new episodes land and automatically download.
Here's a screenshot of my homepage. All the ones I listen to are free.

ooh thank you. I shall attempt to download the app on my phone. I don't use free ones unless recommended as I am scared of downloading virus's.
I like history so have subscribed. Mr M_F has just come along nosing at what I'm up to. He then tried to tell me I already have a podcast app on my phone - he has been advised to jog on as I have all the assistance I need 😎Dedicated Debt Free Wanabee 🤓

The pocketcasts app has been good to me. This afternoon I have listened to Ian Hislops podcasts about old England. Wessex & Mercia, Alfred the Great and so on. I need to re-listen as I zone out when working but need the background noise. DD's rubbish youtubers on the TV don't help.😖2

@FootyFanDan What's your beef? have a lot to catch up on! I used to listen on my commute and would be laughing away to myself but realise it's not everyone's cup of tea.3
