Sometimes just ringing and disputing a transaction is a lot simpler than writing.

    Thank you.

I have emailed the company again asking them if we can resolve this. My #1 question is why have they charged me more than the price stated on the website.

I know it's only £1something but that's really not the point. What has bothered me isn't the amount, it's that they've charged me more than what is listed on their website, more than what is stated on my email receipt, and without warning too.

You still haven't said why you want a refund now ? Surely if the goods arrive there isn't an issue ? Their website states if delivery is refused a refund will be issued but minus return shipping costs.

Personally, if it comes, i'd accept it and mark it down to experience.

    I have?

Although granted i did post it on my phone at the time so maybe you don't see the post saying why i want a refund? Add to the list the fact they've charged me more than the price on the website.

I know plenty would say it's only a small difference but anyone who says that is totally missing the point.
  • Put the website into here and it will tell you who registered it, when and where from. Also the date and registered address.

    https://www.whois.net
  • That looks like a useful website to add to a Favourites list.

I assumed everyone knew about such sites, I always check out sites before I buy or look for reviews online (even reviews can be faked though). If a site is newly registered though, there is no chance I will buy. I would like to know how the OP came across this particular site in the first place.

There are several such sites. Just remember and search whois
  • I don't remember the exact search term but google.

I'll have searched something along the lines of buy Wii U controller online or words to that effect.

From that PDM were either the first site listed or one of the first. Maybe they were even listed under the 'shopping' tab & I saw they were cheaper. I honestly can't remember but it will have been one of those ways.

Another day, another day with no reply.
  • The reply is, some foreign websites do charge a conversion rate. They are not governed by UK law . .

    Was that the question?
