Thanks Beanie, I think DH will get a better deal than me so will get him to try the eligibility checker for a decent 0% transfer. I don't want to start paying interest on any of the CC balances. 😱  Hopefully we can get rid of all three cards within the next 2 years.

The last payment for the garage conversion loan will be in September so we will have that £155pm to pay towards another debt from October onwards. I think we might use it to effectively double the repayment on the small car loan to get rid of it. I think that car will need to be replaced in the next year or two as it is now 10 years old and things will more than likely start going wrong with it. 🤔

Although some of that £155 could be re-routed to one of the cards as well. 🤔 With my smallest CC I have paid off £1600 since May 2022 so I know I can get rid of it before the 0% runs out next June.

You are doing so well :)
If it was me I would put it to the smallest card first & then before Chrimbo you could have only 2 CC's  :)

I agree with Beanie about the smallest card, it might be psychological but would make you feel better.

If you go for a new card, you could work out what you can pay off on the existing one by March and then just transfer the rest.  Save a little bit on fees.

Have you tried FB for the nappies?  There used to be lots of nappy selling pages on there.

Thanks all, DH has managed to get a no fee 0% BT card so once that is set up we will transfer the balance over.

jwil I will have a look at FB, I have previously sold on there, just being lazy and not wanting to work out postage etc. 😂

I managed to do the gloss paint in DD's room so only have my own bedroom to do gloss in now, hoping to start the sanding tomorrow. DH & I have ordered some paint testers to see what colour we'd like for the stairs/hallway.

I had a nice afternoon/evening with my friends the other day and had a peaceful morning the next day as my mum kept the kids overnight. DH & I enjoyed being able to sleep past 7am and not being jumped on in the morning!

DH & I dropped off the buggy, its accessories, a bag of clothes and a bag of kids books to the local charity as well. This made a bit of space in the cupboard of doom in our kitchen where the shoes, bags, jackets and various accessories all get chucked.

So I managed to tidy it all up so we can actually walk into it to hang up jackets and all the hats (summer & winter)/gloves/scarfs etc are in the drawer unit. The reusable bags are in one bag and the plastic bags are in another. The giant bags of cat biscuits are tucked out of the way and our small suitcases are easily accessible for parental escapes. 😂  I went through the kids stuff and took out the jackets and shoes that are too small, I'll see if any are worth selling but have a big bag of stuff I need to either sell or charity shop.

Had a lazy day yesterday so trying to get a bit more done today. DH is working an overtime shift today which will give us a bit more in his next pay, especially handy as I have no Sundays in my next pay due to annual leave.

I have put away 2 washings and done 2 more, we keep having heavy showers though so can't get them out on the line. Have got the bread machine & dishwasher on, have made up jelly for the kids and have chicken marinating for a curry later.  Also got my online shop done for delivery on Tuesday. I have done 30 mins of yoga and my physio exercises to strengthen my core. DD came and joined in with some of the yoga. 😂

In between housework I have mainly been feeding the kids, just hearing the "mum, muuuuum" every time I try to get on with anything.

I'm hoping to get some sanding done in my room and clean the floor downstairs soon.

I'll make some flatbreads and rice later then get the curry started before DH gets home.

We're hoping to take the kids out for breakfast tomorrow then a quick shopping trip to buy my mum a birthday present and DS is desperate to go to a toy shop to spend some birthday money. 🤦‍♀️ Already a spender like his dad. 😂

Oh @sashybo the memory your "Cupboard of Doom" resurrected! Fetching DS1's school overcoat from the depths of a cloakroom one winter, I learned a hard lesson.... always, ALWAYS, check the pockets before putting items away. I found a dessicated pear (or maybe an apple) in his pocket that thankfully wasn't squishy, so it'd probably been there since the previous winter!
What would you get if all you got was what you were thankful for?

I’m impressed with how much you get done with two young kiddies. I can remember saying to mine when they were young I’m going to change my name after hearing them shout mum constantly 😆

Hi all, thanks for dropping in. 😂 @satchmo1 I found a 3 pack of custard creams in DS's jacket pocket yesterday! He must have brought them home from school last week.

Hi @lianne1984, I have productive days and lazy days! I need to get back into the habit of doing some yoga every day even if it's only 10 mins. I've been having hip pain and suspect bursitis so need to stretch and strengthen around my hips especially. I'm already trying to work on my core strength to help improve my pelvic floor after two massive babies.

@Sun_Addict the mum, muuuuum shouting is unreal. DD gets really angry if I don't answer her straight away. 🤦‍♀️

I did manage some sanding and cleaning the floor on Sunday so was happy with what I got done. Yesterday we took the kids out for breakfast at the local pub and they were quite well behaved, especially DS.

Then we went to the toy shop where DS just ran around shouting oh my god 😂 he was loving it. He chose a star wars lego set and DH bought one for himself as well 🤦‍♀️ but his own spending money. 🤷‍♀️ DD got a LOL bubble surprise thing as she's obsessed with the advert on tv. What a lot of tat and it cost £10! 😳

Didn't manage to get anything for my mum's birthday as the kids were playing up and I didn't want to take them into another shop. Will get something either on my break at work tomorrow or after work.

I did the first coat of gloss on the two doors, door frames and around and inside the wardrobes (double sliding door ones with skirting inside and supporting a shelf) in my room yesterday as well. Today I'll get DH to help me pull out the drawers and bed so I can sand all the skirting and windowsills then do the first coat on them. If I have time I'll do the second coat on yesterday's paint too.

Normal housework that needs done is bathroom wiping down, couches to be de-furred (hoovered) and washing to be dried/put away/washed. Have managed 20 mins of yoga plus my core exercise this morning.

Weekly weigh in this morning and have gone up by 0.4 of a lb so it could be a lot worse, I have been a bit lax this week by not sticking to my IF properly and eating rubbish. Need to start walking more too.
