Oh forgot to mention that DD came home from nursery the other day with orange and green felt tip eyebrows! Apparently she was also doing her friends eyebrows too! 🤦‍♀️ 😂 Luckily it washed off quite easily although she still had some marks the next day.

Thanks Dancing, having up & down days but generally feeling better as we have a plan & DH seems committed so far.

Worrying about the car finances though as my MOT & service is next week then DH’s MOT is at the end of February. We only have £80 in the car account due to me getting a puncture and having to replace the tyre. DH also thinks he may need a new tyre as he hit a nasty pothole & has noticed a very slight bulge on one of his tyres. 😭 Of course his tyres cost about £200 each so it’s a nightmare if he does need a new one on top of all the other car expenses.

We also have DH’s big birthday coming up - he is going out with his friends one night & then we’re going for dinner the next. We picked a cheaper place to eat than we were initially looking at and we will only have a few drinks as need to get the kids out to nursery & school the next morning then drop my car off at the garage for the dreaded MOT & service.

I have managed to buy a few small presents for him using survey money & a bit of my allowance. I will make him a birthday cake next week as well, hopefully it will turn out ok.

😂 SA, DD loves drawing & painting, I suppose it was only a matter of time before she started on her own face. My sister actually trained as a make up artist and one of my nieces is very good at it too so wouldn’t be too surprised.

I did manage a bit of decluttering yesterday and put quite a few items of clothing into a bag for the next charity collection. Still more to go but it’s progress.

I also put 3 jackets that I never wear (2 are too small now 😭) on to v!nted and have already sold one. I also took a few dresses out of my wardrobe that are too tight & added them too. I never wear them so they just hang there reminding me I’m too fat to wear them now.

Added some of the kids stuff & sold a bundle of DD’s too small jeans as well. Will buy her a denim jacket on v!nted when the money comes through as her old one is too small and she wore it all summer last year.

Feeling very tired today so taking it easy. Have put one washing away & hung up another plus the nappies.

Made minestrone soup and have dough in the breadmaker to make focaccia later.

    Nightmare about the cars!

Could the tyre be repaired? Our local tyre place gives you a keyring if you’re a regular customer and then they don’t charge you for tyre repairs, just if needs replacing. We’ve had two free tyre repairs from them in the last year or two. Even if you have to pay, it wouldn’t cost anywhere near £200 to patch a tyre up.

One thing they told me, is it’s vital to get it to them right away. If you keep driving on it it shreds the tyre and then it goes beyond repair. The last time I used them this had happened as I’d delayed going in 🙈

Cars are the bane of my life, Bluegreen, we have spent so much money on them in the last few years. DH is keeping an eye on the tyre for now.

We’re both working late shifts tonight & also last night. My mum kept the kids overnight last night and is watching them at our house tonight. I wouldn’t be able to work without her helping me with the kids.

DD very kindly cuddled up with me then scratched me on the face quite badly (again). She is so bad with scratching, my hands have permanent marks from her attacking me and DS has 2 big scratches on each side of his face from her as well!

Feeling rotten as have caught the kids cold. I was freezing last night and felt terrible, am only functioning due to cold & flu tablets.

The only housework I did today was some dishes then putting one washing away and hanging up another.

Hoping to get a bit of cleaning done tomorrow.

Just relaxing in bed with a cup of tea, DH got the kids up and fed. DS is next to me playing his switch and DD is pottering about the room.

Will get up and dressed soon then get yesterday’s washing away and today’s hung up. Will clean the bathrooms and litter trays too then see how I feel. Still all stuffed up.

Another small sale on v!nted so parcelled it up last night & DH will drop it off at the shop later.

Also got another charity bag through so the clothes I decluttered the other day can go out tomorrow morning.

Managed to give the bathrooms a wipe & did a quick litter tray sweep. Emptied the recycling bags & the inside food waste bin then cleaned it.

One washing put away and the other hung up. Also went through the last bags of baby clothes I still have and put 75% of them into the charity bag going out tomorrow.

Back to work on late shift again tomorrow, need to get diesel for the car and try to do a bit of housework after dropping the kids off.

Still not feeling great but just chilling on the couch with the cats. DD took herself off to bed for a nap so will need to wake her up soon.
