I managed to get a bit done in the garden yesterday, mixed some compost, blood, fish and bone and a bit more clay breaker through the new bed. Today I've dug up some potatoes and picked some padron peppers, a mini cucumber and a courgette.
I had a good time with my friends and it was nice to relax but when I got home DS was awake and crying. Then he wouldn't go back to sleep! He was just shouting and talking for hours and woke DD up twice. 😩 DH was losing the plot as he was getting up at 5am for work and couldn't sleep for the noise. Nothing we did seemed to work and he didn't have a temperature or anything. 🤷♀️ I finally gave him calpol just in case and he went to sleep but I don't know if that's just coincidence.
Today DS has a runny nose and not much of an appetite, I hope he's not coming down with something as really want to get him settled at nursery this week before going back to work. 😩 I'm hoping he'll sleep well tonight and feel better in the morning.
DH had hardly any sleep and a long shift at work so no doubt will be in a foul mood when he comes home. ☹️

Oh I hope everything settles down with DS, it's a big change for him but once he settles he'll love nursery I'm sure.
Hope DH isn't too grumpy when he gets home and that you all have a restful night ahead of the new school week x2 -

Bless DS. It could just be being at nursery and all the new germs that will be going around. Poor little thing. xSeptember 2017 Debt = £25330

Hi all, thanks. DS is still not quite right this morning but a lot better than yesterday so it looks like he'll be going into nursery. He just has a wee cold with a runny nose, no temperature or cough thank goodness. I hope he doesn't scream when I leave him again. ☹️
One of my friends gave me more clothes for DD that her DD had grown out of, they are all in great condition. 😊 I still need to get more joggers for DS for nursery, I bought him some plain white polo shirts and will maybe buy him the nursery jumper but there's no rush.
DH was actually in quite a good mood after work yesterday and even made dinner. Poor DS was miserable and just wanted cuddles. He fell asleep straight after his bath whilst watching his bedtime programme. He still woke up a few times through the night and DD woke up once, I think she is going through a growth spurt as she keeps waking up for a
bottle in the early hours.
We all had a long lie this morning as DH is working lates this week. I'm hoping that I can do a bit of yoga whilst DS is at nursery but that depends how long he's staying today. I could really do with cleaning the bathrooms and inside the fridge, just noticed yesterday how dirty the shelves are. I cleaned out the vegetable drawers so at least part of it has been done.

Well DS had another screaming fit going into nursery on Monday, I had to pick him up and carry him under one arm whilst pushing the pram as he started screaming and trying to pull away as soon as we went in the gate. 😔 So he only stayed an hour again that day.
Yesterday I was quite worried and thought he would be freaking out again at nursery drop off, only for him to turn round and say bye mummy bye bye quite happily and trot off with his key worker. 🥳 He stayed 2 hours and did well, so did another 2 hours today with DH dropping him off and picking him up. Fingers crossed that's him settling in, he's staying nearly 3 hours tomorrow to see how he gets on. 😊 He is in afternoons only so his full sessions are 3 hours 10 mins.
Myself & DD have also caught DS's cold, I have had a sore throat and runny then stuffed up nose, poor DD was the same and was absolutely exhausted yesterday. I felt so bad that my mum came over to help me out with dinner and bedtime as DH was working late shift again.
Feeling a lot better today although still stuffed up, was meant to be going out for lunch tomorrow with my mum and sister but will probably cancel as don't want people thinking I'm covid infected. So many people are having their kids sent home from school for coughing once and they're not allowed back until they get a negative test result.

Hi it does look much more positive about nursery so that's encouraging. It is so difficult for the children to adapt and lots of parents experience the same difficulties.
Sorry to hear you've been poorly...hope you feel better soon.x1 -
Much better news about nursery
Hope you feel better soon.
