    Thanks Beanie, you too. 😀

SA, the nappy bum was pretty epic. 😂
The fungus gnats are like tiny black flies that crawl about on the surface of the soil - apparently it's the larvae that damage the plants though as they eat the roots. 😣 I didn't know what they were, had to google them as I kept seeing these wee flies near the plants and then when I looked closer they were crawling about on the surface of the soil. 🤢 I really hope they're gone, I'm a bit scared to look at my other houseplants downstairs now. 👀 I think they're ok though as haven't spotted any similar flies around them.

I get vine weevils in the garden pots and have to treat them all with a liquid I buy from the garden centre (I hope I've got enough left!) The weevils eat the roots. I've repotted what I can but some of my pots are enormous and impossible to do anything with. So I just carry on treating them every year.

I'm laughing at the huge nappy bum too. I used to use terry nappies but had to do some sort of nappy origami and fasten with a pin. My husband could never get the gist of it and the nappy used to plunge to the ground, meaning he was rarely asked to do the nappies. Clever!

Hi piquant, what a pain with the vine weevils - my most hated garden pests are the slugs and the greenfly. Horrible things are always killing off my plants, thank goodness the nematodes seem to keep the slugs under control as long as I remember to buy and apply them to the soil!

Yes, very clever of your husband! 😂  My sister did a similar thing whenever my mum asked her to make a cup of tea when we were all still living at home. She would make a cup of tea so rotten that my mum wouldn't ask her to do it again for months. 😂

It was lovely and sunny here today, got another load of washing hung out and dried. DS chose to wear a straw boater hat, wellies and a cardigan out into the garden over his t-shirt and joggy trousers. 🤣 He looked like he'd been dressed by an explosion in a jumble sale but he was happy. 🤷‍♀️ DD had a wee mob cap type sun hat on and looked very cute but it kept slipping forward and covering her whole face. Poor wee lamb but it did make me laugh when I turned round and all I saw was her hat. 😃

I hoovered the living room and did a quick mop of the kitchen floor and that was it for housework apart from the usual dishes and the washing I hung out. DH was faffing about with his home brew so I was on full childcare mode. DH did make lunch though and is making some dinner for us now as well.

DD slept from 7pm until 5am this morning. I was woken up by DS crying after another bad dream (I think) about 4:45am and as soon as I went back to bed I heard DD stirring. She didn't go back to sleep until nearly half 6 so I was like a zombie.

DD slept well again last night from 7pm-10:30 and then from 11pm until nearly 8am. 🥳 I had put her in the big cot (out of the Moses basket) so she obviously felt happy in there and must have enjoyed the space as she was all stretched out. 😊

DS was amazed at getting chocolate eggs this morning. 😂 He totally doesn't get Easter. My sister had bought him an Easter bonnet and things to decorate it and left it at the door for us but he didn't have the patience or interest so I did it for him. He decapitated one of the chicks on it but then ran about with the hat on, so he did like it.

Planning on getting the bathrooms cleaned today, at least one washing done and probably going to make sweet and sour chicken with coconut rice for dinner. Need to remember to bring my lobelia seedlings in from the greenhouse tonight as there may be frost overnight. 🥶 It looks lovely and sunny outside at the moment.

I have ordered some sticker books and a unicorn toy that you can colour in and then clean and re-colour to be delivered to my wee niece. It was her birthday a couple of weeks ago and probably still won't see her for ages so just ordered her present online. Also sent a sticker book for her wee sister.

Need to go through DD's clothes soon and take the too small things out and replace with the bigger sized clothes my friend left for me. I have sorted the bag and it's sitting in her room, so just need to do the actual transferring.

Cleared some stuff that was cluttering up the worktops in the kitchen so it looks a bit better in there today. Need to try and do a bit every day so that I feel like I'm actually getting somewhere with it.

DD is sleeping well that's good, not so good that DH is sleeping just as well. He needs to chip in with the childcare and let you have a lie in sometimes.

Hi Beanie, SA & Nicnak. 👋 Yes I think I've let him away with a bit too much recently, I'm not asking for him to do it every day but now and again would be nice.

Today was a bit of a write off as DD was suffering with a lot of pain due to teething. 😔 She was screaming and just wanted me to hold her, so I spent most of the day with a sleeping/crying/grumpy baby attached to me. She had cheered up a bit by late afternoon so must have felt a bit better then.

All I have managed to do is have a shower, put a washing of DD's clothes on and a nappy wash on plus wash some dishes. DH hung the clothes washing out when he took DS out into the garden. It was sunny but cold today. 🥶 Lobelia are staying in the utility room just in case.

I have some cucumber seedlings and one courgette seedling appearing so will need to pot them on shortly. May sow a few more courgette seeds as only one seems to be doing anything. Also have some more dianthus coming through and some linaria too. 😃

I'll get the seed potatoes out this week too, have been giving them a bit more time chitting but really better get them in their bags.
