    Morning all,
Flu Day 10. I'm better than I was last week, but I seem to have got to a certain point & am not progressing beyond it. We'll see what the weekend brings. Am hoping for a little trip to town (first time out since 27th!) so maybe the fresh air will be helpful.
A very few small MSE things today:
*Dinner will be the rest of the huge fish pie I cooked yesterday. Have rounded up veg on its last legs & prepped that ready to go with it.
*Cleaned the bathroom & tidied the kitchen & lounge & emptied bins. Have had strict instructions from mr f not to hoover as he doesn't think I'm up to it, & he's probably right.
    *Wrote shopping list.
    *Did a few surveys.
*Sorted out tech problem & updated my blog. Had abandoned it due to a silly tech issue but it does seem sorted now.
*Recycled my festive door wreath. All greenery chopped up & added to compost bin. Wire ring & decorations saved to make this year's.
*Work on knitting my sock order.
*Washed hair & let it dry naturally. Shall have to run straightners over it later though, as combined with the lergy, I look like I should be living in a cave.
I can't see me getting anything else useful done today, so I intend to cosy up on the sofa with a hot water bottle, box of tissues & plenty of drinks, watch a film & knit my sock order. I don't really feel up to much else to be honest. Watched a German film yesterday. It was good, but I don't expect I shall watch it again, so it's been added to the ebay pile.
Have a good day all.....or at least as peaceful a non-spendy day as possible.

    Hi January Jubilants,

I've actually managed to achieve quite a lot today.

Debt Free-Nillionaire Continuity Plan Year Two:

    * Made a few notes for the job interview. (Haven't done the application yet, but the interview was weighing on my mind.)

    * Deep cleaned the kitchen. Oh my Smurf, what a mess. Used mainly
    Stardrops and washable cloths.

    * Went to the supermarket. DW wanted to order a £19 takeaway tonight but managed to talk her into one of those £7 Indian-meal-in-a-bag things instead.

    * Did my own manicure.

    * Attacked own eyebrows with tweezers...though a lawnmower would've been more appropriate.

Live long, live well and prosper.

    Hi all

Keeping fingers crossed Katy-Ann, glad he is on the mend.

Free exercise this morning on spinning bike
Heating has just gone on, it's 13 degrees in the kitchen
Load of jumpers in wm to go on the airer when they are done
Dishwasher on (I reluctantly gathered some mugs from DS2s very messy bedroom to make a full load)

I feel a cold starting. Would be very surprised if I escape it considering how many people in the family have had colds.

Ally making interview notes sounds like a good idea. Might help you feel a bit clearer about things too.

Right, on with more paid stuff. If I can do 4 hours today then I hit my weekly target and don't have to work over the weekend.

Hello all (and welcome to Uphill Struggler!)

I brought in breakfast and lunch today but did need to nip to Mr T for mascarpone and cherry tomatoes for dinner tonight. The tomatoes however were reduced to 69p (the plum cherry toms) so saved 31p. We have a ready meal curry in the freezer for DH (he doesn't eat cheese) which will stop us ordering takeaway.

I couldn't be bothered to trek to Prim@rk to buy two pairs of badly needed leggings so opted to pay an extra pound per pair in M@talan. I also picked up a pack of five pairs of Christmas socks for £3.50 which makes me £2.50 over my declared budget for clothes this year.

Nothing much doing on my eBay listings so I have reduced some to just below £10 hoping that psychologically it makes a difference to people!

    EDIT

Got a nice bar of rose scented soap from the free table which I will keep in my knicker drawer :T
    Make £25 a day in April £0/£750 (March £584, February £602, January £883.66)

    December £361.54, November £322.28, October £288.52, September £374.30, August £223.95, July £71.45, June £251.22, May£119.33, April £236.24, March £106.74, Feb £40.99, Jan £98.54) Total for 2017 - £2,495.10

    Hi everyone

Ooh 1LL - I was feeling ready for action earlier but then we got home and I started knitting!! House is a tip but I have the toes of my socks done and I also finished the Rubik's cube I got for Christmas :rotfl: Just had a wave of lazy guilt so I've put the WM on and now I can get back to the knitting. ;) I've started my new bullet journal too - funny how googling 'bujo' can make me feel productive :rotfl: Right, must go and waste another half hour on Pinterest and then think about tea. :)

In good news - the take away we got last night was enough for lunch and dinner tonight so I'm happy about that. :)

Katy_ann - lovely to hear your LO is looking a bit brighter today. :grouphug:
FVD - sounds good about the leccy! (I am another tumble drier lover :p)

Shopping tomorrow - can't decide whether £5 off at T's £50 spend is better than just going to Aldi. Reckon Aldi would still be cheaper..

    Take care everyone xxxxxxx
