    Goals for this month

    Get CC2 under £1000
To be able to pay for Mot and servicing without use of CC
To think about using EF to pay car insurance in full. Then divide the renewal by 12 and save that amount every month for next year.
Have things to list on eBay.
Crack on with Xmas shopping , done some already.
Get new bookcase after decorator finished .

Don't work Fridays but had to go in for an hour to sort something out. Now having lunch out with colleagues as it's payday! Hoping not to spend more than £10 !

Not sure yet as not due for renewal till 15th September and not had present insurers renewal price. All insurance is very expensive though paying monthly up to 35 % .

Naughty day yesterday , 2 unplanned spends one at lunch time costing me £8.75 and then going to chip shop for tea £3.50 my share . My friend and I enjoyed it though and we did have a lovely time staying in and chatting.

Today I think I am having a day at home , just catching up on housework , listing on eBay and maybe some knitting..

We will see. On the plus side I have had some quotes for the car insurance which are favourable .

Good news on the MOT and servicing front, parents want to pay for it. They don't have a car so I take them lots of places. They like to help out with my car from time to time, so this is especially helpful.
For this reason I am going to take the money out of EF to pay for my car insurance.

    Had a NSD as well.

That's really nice of them. I'd use the emergency fund too, and then pay it back monthly.

    How lovely of your parents.

I'm glad you had a lovely day, and as far as the spends go, you do need to allow some treats.:)

Spent the day catching up with bits and pieces.

    eBay listing done
    Started knitting a baby cardigan.
    Updated spending diary.
    Meal plan done.
Made plum flap jack using TOPMs recipe with gluten free oats . Have frozen most of it , very nice it is.
Shopping was £29.84 . Petrol £35.95 . Seemed to have ran out of store cupboard items all in the same week.
    That's it.
