Goals for this month
Get CC2 under £1000
To be able to pay for Mot and servicing without use of CC
To think about using EF to pay car insurance in full. Then divide the renewal by 12 and save that amount every month for next year.
Have things to list on eBay.
Crack on with Xmas shopping , done some already.

Naughty day yesterday , 2 unplanned spends one at lunch time costing me £8.75 and then going to chip shop for tea £3.50 my share . My friend and I enjoyed it though and we did have a lovely time staying in and chatting.
Today I think I am having a day at home , just catching up on housework , listing on eBay and maybe some knitting..
We will see. On the plus side I have had some quotes for the car insurance which are favourable .This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -
Good news on the MOT and servicing front, parents want to pay for it. They don't have a car so I take them lots of places. They like to help out with my car from time to time, so this is especially helpful.
For this reason I am going to take the money out of EF to pay for my car insurance.

That's really nice of them. I'd use the emergency fund too, and then pay it back monthly. My mortgage free diary: https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/6498069/whoops-here-comes-the-cheese
