Three days of being unwell , meant 3 NSD. Today went to see a good friend and spent £3 on flowers for her birthday, I make cards as a hobby so already had one done. Window cleaner £2.30 today as well.
Not doing much this weekend so hopefully be a quiet weekend on the money front apart from petrol and shopping.
Next month is a busy one for me , lots of weekend activities mostly free just lots of travel involved. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -
Not posted for a few days but not much happening.
Shopping Sunday splashed out on a hanging basket from Mr A but still came in well under £30 budget at £22.62 . Petrol has lasted well this month still got a lot left and payday is Friday., not been travelling much plus 3 days off sick last week so no travelling to work.
Today I am going to see 2 properties to rent , I like where I live now but would like my own peace of England to sit in, live in a flat at present with no personal outdoor space.
The rent would be £50 dearer a month , if I like either will have to factor in this extra money and how it will affect my budget.
I have money left in a few pots this month so am going to overpay cc and put some in savings.
Waxing later as well , but half price on a Wednesday so £5.50 will be the cost.
Visit to doctors in the evening as well.
Can hardly walk this morning after going to my first boxing class , looks like a sunny day as well. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -
After viewing the two rental properties today I have decided I live in a palace, I will make do with the communal garden where I live. One of the properties was filthy, neglected and oh I could carry on. The second was very nice but too small advertised incorrectly as a 2 bed but was 1 bed.
Spent £5.50 having coffee in between viewings. Waxing £5.50 as half price today.
Doctors next at 7pm.This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -

Six months in to my journey , I started in Jan with
Cc 1 1500
Cc2 4470
Six more months later
Cc1 1208.26
Cc2 3879.27
I now owe £5087.53 , I am going to see if I can pay the £87.53 as well to get it to £5000.
I am surprised it has gone down as well as it has. I don't earn a mega wage but the thing for me is it has gone down not up , I haven't used a credit card for 7 months which I am proud off.
I have my emergency fund sorted and will be adding to it. My Christmas and birthday fund is going well . I have a little holiday account for my little trips to see friends in a few weeks time.
Thank you to everyone who has commented or helped me since I started .

All my transfers done to different pots , credit card direct debits gone.
I have bought a couple of Christmad presents this month , because I have saved some money in an account.
It is such a good feeling having saved for something rather than it going on credit .

You're doing well Cumbrialass and great to see those figures go down!
It's great you've not used a card in 7 months and actually had the money saved to buy the Christmas presents. It was only the other day I was thinking of Christmas.
Keep on goingChandelier.
