Also have to say the last few months have been eye opening , to realise that if you budget you can survive without buying non essential things. I haven't added to my debt and I have been able to still enjoy a social life . I still realise though how easy it is to slip back to old ways , so the spending diary is back in my bag as it has gone by the wayside in the last few weeks.
I have no more holidays planned , I have been away for 10 days and 2 weekends this year . I am sure to go to friends again , but am hoping to stay close to home this summer. Someone has recently come back in my life who I hope to spend time with. He has moved very close by !This is a system account and does not represent a real person. Personally I would pay it off. Only if you're disciplined enough to put it into a savings account and LEAVE it there would I recommend that. I know what I'm like so would rather have the satisfaction of the debt gone.
Good luck with the new someone!

If you can be disciplined I would continue to save the £50 in your emergency fund providing no interest being charged on the credit card. Just make sure it is paid off before deal expires.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Debt free Wannabe, Budgeting and Banking and Savings and Investment boards.
