We went to see Waiting for God , very funny and rude in parts. Mum loved it . Cost £3 in car park so cheap night out.

Grandchildren day today , hoping not to spend much . Maybe the park for a while. Lunch at home and then great grandparents.

The sun has gone in , hoping for no rain.

Didn't spend with grandchildren, which is good.

Can't say that for my shopping though so far, seem to have ran out of everything, toilet rolls, washing liquid, teabags , toiletries . Went to bargain shop and spent £20.17. £6 in mr s for gluten free. Just need to go to Mr A on Sunday . Need quite a bit as want to do batch cooking . Not sure yet what I am making will do list tomorrow.
Tomorrow is the first of my weekends travelling to friends , 100 mile round trip so petrol budget going over the top this month. No lunch to pay for we are having it at there home .

Had a lovely day out yesterday with friends , so glad I went.

Roll on to the evening , my mum had a fall and ended up with a broken hip. The hospital is 2 minutes from my front door so very handy . She has had a new hip this morning , waiting on news now.

Took Dad shopping this morning , I spent £27.77 coupled with what I spent on Friday , well over budget for the week , but luckily within the months budget .

Plans for the next couple of weekends cancelled , need to be here at home to help out. Am going to be mega busy . Being an only child has its drawbacks , no one to share anything with .

Mum had a rough time after her op but is now back on the ward with her new hip.

I am having an early night and a day of tomorrow to help dad with a few things.

    No more money spent .

Unexpected day at home today , as mum is in hospital. Been with Dad cancelling holidays and appointments.

Took the opportunity to do some batch cooking in between visiting and have discovered frozen onion . They seem to cook well and at 69 p a bag worth a try. Money saving as I never get to use all my onions before they have gone off.

NSD today for obvious reasons. Even had to cancel aqua fit , but needed as mum needs visiting .
